Even though I am neither a vegan nora member, it was nice to see how this organization is carrying out its mission. I had the benefit of going on a day where they had additional events-- crafts for kids, and vegan cake and ice cream. A nice gift shop provides a place to get presents for any vegans/vegetarians/animal lovers in... More

No-one wants to see animals abused, but the folks who run this farm for rescue animals takes their caring to another level. They have animals of all types from cows, horses, ducks, goats and you name it - all who have been rescued from terrible circumstances - only to thrive on the farm. A must see - especially for children.

I have been dreaming about visiting Farm Sanctuary since I became a member almost twenty years ago, and it did not disappoint. In fact, during my stay in Watkins Glen I visited and took the tour twice. The tour lasted a little over an hour and was well worth the ten dollar price. You will be able to go right... More

We really didn't enjoy ourselves at all while we were here. They have some pretty things to look at and some really large animals. Can't say much else about it..

This is a truly rewarding experience especially if you are an animal lover and into rescue work. You can walk among the cows lazily grazing and go up and pet them. You can sit with the big pigs in their fresh beds of straw and rub their bellies. You can hold a turkey on your lap and stroke is soft... More

Be able to hear the stories of these animals rescued at Farm Sanctuary is life changing. It is in such a gorgeous setting and the people who work there seem to love their jobs. Kids will love it and you'll never look at animals in the same way again. I miss it already.

I recently visited the Farm Sanctuary with friend. We are all ladies in our 60's. The farm is picture perfect and laid out to serve the abused and abandoned animals who will ive out their lives there. We saw an informative video in the big visitor center and then walked a guided tour. It was very relaxed and we were... More

This place changes hearts and minds. It was my second visit and the tour guide was incredibly informative. Being able to interact with the animals (pigs, cows, goats, chickens, turkeys) was amazing.

It was a wonderful and peaceful visit! I stayed in one of the cabins on the farm. Met some delightful people who share the same values of compassion for our planet's animals and we continue to be in touch.

What an absolutely wonderful place. We feel so lucky to have met beautiful Valentino, the calf, and brave Nikki, the fearless pig mama. If only all animals could be treated with this same kindness and respect. The staff is knowledgable and clearly love what they do. Everyone should visit the Farm Sanctuary.
