(Back because, my bus had driven past it on my arrival earlier in the morning and because i had walked past it when i went in search of a BDC to change... More

We visited with our 5-year-old who loved the children's playground in the park. It cost less than a dollar to go in and was nice.

Our hotel was nearby, so we enjoyed the activity and barbecues that happened nightly in the park. Great spot for people watching!

The place has been taken over by drug dealers. There are too many homeless people around disturbing and begging. Food in the street is not reliable, be very careful.

Great atmosphere and really busy. The food we had was from one of the busier stalls and was really tasty and such good value.

This is not a big park in the brief of parks, but they have amazing open air food market in the evening worth tasting. I know some fear it for hygiene but the food turn over is high so don't think this should be a source of concern.

Nice variety of food, loved the sugar cane juice and shawarma... One can walk along the place, taste the different amazing zanzibari cuisine from different chefs and also enjoy the scene maybe mingle with other people...

At sunset this tourist/crowded park becomes lively with dozens of street vendors preparing and selling food items that range from fresh fish and seafood cooked on a spit to shish kebab, chicken shwarma, samosas and local pizzas. Unfortunately, like anywhere else in Zanzibar, local vendors try to attract customers to their stands in an extremely pushing way and in doing... More
