Petite Anse is definitely a stunning beach, but it was the most crowded beach we encountered as it is the beach of the Four Seasons Hotel. The hotel staff are friendly and allow access (as they are required to do). They hand you a nice welcome card that is basically designed to reiterate that you are not allowed to use... More

Perfection....... soft powdery ivory sand..... barricaded by granite boulders, cliffs and lush vegetation on either side.... The various azure shades of the crystal clear Indian Ocean, lapping up on the shore.... The wondrous Four Seasons Resort & Spa on it's doorstep.... yet not imposing in anyway nor taking away from this majestic beach

If you wanna enjoy sand and sea like shown in a postcards you should defenitly visit Petit Anse! The main barrier is that if you don't transport with your own car it is quite loong way to walk from local transport to get there. Also from the reception of Four Seasons Hotel to the beach there is around 15 minutes... More

Not much busy, clean water, no strong current, safe and with all natural beauty. What else we want. During our visit in June12 we had rented a car from the hotel and visited on my own so was able to spent the quality time there with family. Must visit place.

It is located at the west coast of Mahe. One has to pass through Four Seasons Resort to reach the beach. It is a 15 minutes walk from the gate but you can get a lift from passing club cars. Its better to use club cars as its a very tiring walk . The beach is a Paradise. Crystal clear... More

The access to Petite Anse is through the Four Seasons Resort, although it is a public beach. For security reason you got to park outside the property and identify yourself. It is about 10 to 15 min walk but a tip is to ask for a lift provided by the resort free of charge, but you gotta ask for it... More

Best snorkelling on island alongside Port Launay and Baie Ternay. Shame you have to work your way through the Four Seasons hotel to visit but well worth the effort....

The beach is beautiful and clean. There are great spots underneath the trees if you want to avoid the sun. There is offbeach snorkeling but not as good as in Maldives or Hawaii.

This beach is beautiful, we loved it. The sand is soft, the beach is clean and not at all crowded and very safe. The waters look calm and inviting. We will treasure the memories from here for a long time. If in Mahe, plan to visit the West coast and get to this beach.
