Petite Anse is definitely a place woth a visit. The beach is stunning and there is a little restaurant serving local food and drinks. However there are two negative things that needs to be mentionned: 1/ Every time we went there you could see between 10-20 homeless dogs running and/or lying on the beach, sometime it was annoying as you... probably one of the best beaches in world with clean sandy area and crystal clear swimming water; but not easily accessible through public transport, easiest option is to rent a car!

You have to work a little to get there - about 1km walk along a jungle trail crossing a headland. However when you get there you are confronted with stunning beauty. Clear yellow sand, crashing waves and fabulous red granite rocks backed by tropical jungle. One refreshment shack rents umbrellas which is good because natural shade is hard to find.... More

We rented a car and drove from Beau Vallon to petit anse. While it's still a lengthy drive the views all along the way are gorgeous and the island presents itself in all is glory. The four seasons staff are very friendly and easily direct you to the beach. The way down is eat but be prepared for a steep... More

With 2 weeks in the Seychelles you will see numerous world class beaches. There's another stunning and deserted beach around every corner. So to say Petite Anse was my favourite is high praise indeed. The beach can only be accessed through the Four Seasons resort. We went to the wrong (staff) entrance first and the man on the door was... More

There are no words to describe such a little place pf heaven - paradise maybe? You come here and relax, you forget the world around you exists, just enjoy, wind down, that's what life is about too.

This beach is very highly rated in Lonely Planet so we checked it out. Unfortunately, they were dealing with a red tide outbreak at the time so we weren't able to swim. The Four Seasons takes up the entire beach. The staff at the gate didn't mention anything about the red tide so we walked all the way to the... More
