Although small, it was lovely! The people were so very friendly and to get there, walk along the main beach road and then turn up where the Port Louis Express 215 bus stops to pick up folk travelling to PL. Walk a little up the road and there on the left you will find the Bazaar. Naturally, you will find... More

We went here hoping to find a few souvenirs and bargains...but we didn't get anything like it! From the first moment we stepped into the shop, there was someone in our face saying come and have a look in their shop & that they'll give us a good price. It was an absolute nightmare. We couldn't look around at all... More

We were residing in North part of Mauritius and it was easy to reach the place (Grand Baie) from our resort. Buses are available from morning till evening ( Few of them mentioned that the last bus from Grand Baie was at 6 PM!!! but taxi service is available even after 6 PM). On main street one side you will... More

The bazaar is just a place to find overpriced souvenirs and small ‘things’ 3 to 10 times the price you would pay anywhere else in Mauritius. In fact, it was more expensive than the shop in our hotel for a much lower quality! When we first arrived there, we were approached by a lady (mid-thirties), her shop is located on... More

We were not particular impressed. It is like most bazaars that you find in the East, peddling much of the same t-shirts and touristy mementos. I would not recommend it.

Colourful but better visited in a group. You see a bit more of real life. Shop round before you pay for anything . Walk away if needed, I Assure you they will sell you it to you.

You can get heaps of cheap stuff here. clothing, souvenirs,.. Everything made in China. Make sure to haggle. We did not buy anything, but it's fun to stroll through the narrow paths of this covered market.

I was surprised at the extend of the bazaar. Based on reviews I expected a glorified flea market. It was much more. Bought lots souvenirs, pearls and jewellery. Prices are very reasonable and they take cards!!!!!

if you looking to buy souvenir this is the place to buy souvenirs before leaving Mauritius. Bargain as much as you can as you can as they really have a loot of profit margin .

We took the bus here and it was a great market, Mon - Sat 6am till 6pm. There was no hard sell and you were able to browse at leisure.
