Coco Island is just a short swim from the Blue Bay. We found just a Resort and almost nothing else. A lot of people going by Glass Bottom Boat from the Blue Bay to a place near Coco Island to see a lot of Fish. This trip is just to making money. The locals are feeding the fishes with a... More

Small island accessible by boat, has a lovely restaurant and a private hire villa (expensive) if you want to eat there you can negotiate a deal with one of the numerous boat owners for a private meal on the beach or if you want to use the restaurant you have to book it three to four weeks in advance as... We organised this trip through our LUX hotel and spent the day here. Its a very small island although there is plenty of space to relax by the sea or swing in a hammock. We did some snorkeling for around 40 minutes and the buffet lunch was delicious. I felt it was a little expensive for what it was, especially... More

Our hotel arranged the excursion (from the Oberoi Hotel(. It is a lot of fun for glass bottom look at the bay, snorkeling and a lot of great food and drink. The other recent reviews summed it up nicely. It is a fully catered day on the beach by a Lux hotel operated "restaurant". If you have a chance, ask... More

This is a gorgeous little island in the south of Mauritius. Contrary to other reports this island can take up to 100 paying guests in one day and is completely private (as of today's info from the staff). 100 people would be the limit too as would feel crowded otherwise (so be warned), we had 40 today which was fantastic.... The Island is easy to reach by one of the many glass bottom boats. The centre of the island is private (a luxury hotel) but the beaches are public and spotless: white sand and transparent water. The island is located at the heart of the Blue Bay and you can do some serious snorkeling on the nearby coral reefs.

We visited the island for an afternoon. It is such a relaxing place. The lunch was delicious and the flavored rum was great. I could spend all day here doing nothing. The only item I would suggest would to use paper towels in the bathroom as an option to towels.

This is a tiny island that takes you 15 mins to walk round it. Go snorkelling, sunbathe, sleep in a hamoc, sip on any drinks you want and I highly recommend their ginger "rhum arrange". They have a huge variety well worth trying. Go snorkelling and play with the fishies. The coral though is sadly dead but quite a few... More
