Type: Reefs, Adventure
Owner description: Pharaoh Dive Clubs are small and friendly dive centres located at quiet uncrowded resorts around the Red Sea.Both Marsa Alam and El Quseir are local, friendly towns with a traditional Egyptian atmosphere. Each centre has a unique appeal to suit the different needs of all our divers whether travelling alone,as a couple or in a group. We listen to what you like and tailor the dive sites around you. You will never feel part of the masses but instead part of the family. We are a British owned and operated PADI 5*IDC National Geographic Dive Centre with multi-lingual European and Egyptian staff. The area between El Quseir and Marsa Alarm is considered one of the most beautiful diving regions of the Red Sea and one of the few diving areas of the Red Sea which is still unaffected by mass tourism

I’d previously submitted a review about my experience of staying at Roots Camp and diving with Pharoah Dive Club for a week towards the end of September 2014.Some of the (honest) statements that I made about my experiences there were subsequently challenged by the owners of Roots Camp and it looks like they had my original (honest) review removed. I... More

We welcome all comments on TripAdvisor the feedback is very useful, thank you for taking the time to write. The review is crammed with compliments about the dive operation so thank you for that, it appears we have nothing to take on board and change in that respect. Your big issue appears to be with Horas our guide, this is... More

We (couple and diving 11-year-old) had a wonderful week at El Quseir. The diving was fantastic, very good coral and variety of locations, instructors excellent, great welcome, friendly staff, tasty food, and wonderful playful dog, Yogi. Our daughter did her PADI OpenWater here, and was very well looked after by Tito.

Very friendly staff who take complete care of your own or hired dive equipment. Just let them know where you will dive the next day and they will take care of the transport of your dive equipment. Also when you will dive on the house reef. After your last dive of the day, they wash and dry your equipment and... More

This was the 3rd time I dove with the instructors of Pharao divers. This time I chose to follow an INON underwaterphotograpy course. The equipment used was very nice. The course was good but I felt that more could be made out of the 'excercie' dives. Only the mandatory excercices were done while that was done in 15 minutes and... More

Thank you once again for a wonderful Christmas and New Year. You really do want for nothing at Roots. The accommodation is extremely clean with a daily room service. The only finger you have to lift is the one that opens your door to your room to walk over to the dive centre and get dressed for diving. After that... More

Yet another fantastic experience with Pharaoh Dive Club (PDC) in El Quseir! Staff very professional and helpful; especially Tito, Fahti, Nade and all of the helpers! And of course Martina too :-) Great choice of dive sites, with the choice of options given to us each day. Top 3 favourite sites this time were ... - the Roots Camp/PDC House... More

We have recently returned from a 7 day trip to Pharaoh Dive Club. Travelling with my son, we were looking for a different experience from the 'meat market' approach to diving previously encountered in Sharm. From the moment I contacted Steve, he and Clare were attentive, responsive and most of all interested in what we wanted from the trip. Because... More

I have very high expectation in respect to diving and they were 110% meet, we were a group of 5 and three were going there open water course, one there advances and I was just fun dives. Every request was catered to evening picking us up and dropping us off in the hotel. Stave and Clare are the nicest people,... More
