Description: Pharaoh Dive Clubs are small and friendly dive centres located at quiet...
Pharaoh Dive Clubs are small and friendly dive centres located at quiet uncrowded resorts around the Red Sea.Both Marsa Alam and El Quseir are local, friendly towns with a traditional Egyptian atmosphere. Each centre has a unique appeal to suit the different needs of all our divers whether travelling alone,as a couple or in a group. We listen to what you like and tailor the dive sites around you. You will never feel part of the masses but instead part of the family. We are a British owned and operated PADI 5*IDC National Geographic Dive Centre with multi-lingual European and Egyptian staff. The area between El Quseir and Marsa Alarm is considered one of the most beautiful diving regions of the Red Sea and one of the few diving areas of the Red Sea which is still unaffected by mass tourism

Pharaoh Dive Club, located at the Roots Luxury Camp in El Qusier, is without question one of the most professional, customer-oriented, and safe diving operations on the shores of the Southern Red Sea. Operated by Steve Rattle and Clare Meadows, I have visited them three times over the past five years, and continue to be amazed at what they have... More

Wow from the time we arrived at Roots Camp through to the time we left we could not have wished for better, it was my partner Jenny's first time ever to dive in the sea having only logged a few dives in a puddle in the uk, The dive guides Horus ,Ashraf and Moody helped her gain more confidence with... Myself and my 13yr old son stayed at Roots camp last week. Everything was thoroughly well organised despite the winds and restrictions on dive sites due to currents. Everyday we were taken to an appropriate dive site, received very good briefings and had excellent diving and all our equipment was washed, cleaned and where it should have been everyday.....a slick... Who said that Martina isn't friendly? The operation is well organised, dive guides top (we went out mostly with Moudi and Tito). Hoping to do some more cavern diving with Steve next time.

I’d previously submitted a review about my experience of staying at Roots Camp and diving with Pharoah Dive Club for a week towards the end of September 2014.Some of the (honest) statements that I made about my experiences there were subsequently challenged by the owners of Roots Camp and it looks like they had my original (honest) review removed. I... More

We welcome all comments on TripAdvisor the feedback is very useful, thank you for taking the time to write. The review is crammed with compliments about the dive operation so thank you for that, it appears we have nothing to take on board and change in that respect. Your big issue appears to be with Horas our guide, this is... More

We (couple and diving 11-year-old) had a wonderful week at El Quseir. The diving was fantastic, very good coral and variety of locations, instructors excellent, great welcome, friendly staff, tasty food, and wonderful playful dog, Yogi. Our daughter did her PADI OpenWater here, and was very well looked after by Tito.

Very friendly staff who take complete care of your own or hired dive equipment. Just let them know where you will dive the next day and they will take care of the transport of your dive equipment. Also when you will dive on the house reef. After your last dive of the day, they wash and dry your equipment and... More

This was the 3rd time I dove with the instructors of Pharao divers. This time I chose to follow an INON underwaterphotograpy course. The equipment used was very nice. The course was good but I felt that more could be made out of the 'excercie' dives. Only the mandatory excercices were done while that was done in 15 minutes and... More

Thank you once again for a wonderful Christmas and New Year. You really do want for nothing at Roots. The accommodation is extremely clean with a daily room service. The only finger you have to lift is the one that opens your door to your room to walk over to the dive centre and get dressed for diving. After that... More
