We've seen wonderful exhibits here, stopping on the way out east or making a special trip just to the museum. Big airy open space with intelligent choices of artwork beautifully displayed. Top notch gift shop and cafe, too.

Loved everything about this museum. Wearing the headphones to describe the artwork made it more interesting. Even the hubby, who is not an art buff, really enjoyed it!

The Parrish moved from Southhampton town center to this field where it looks like a long house from the outside but inside it is breathless, light and airy and a perfect place to see their collection of treasures. I wouldn't miss this if I were in the area for a while. Very special.

Not too big to overwhelm and loose interest and not too small to not make it worth a trip. The exhibits are thought provoking and the gift shop superb.

I took my 17 year old daughter and her friend visiting from the Czech Republic on a beautiful Sunday. We had an excellent docent tour. Everyone loved it. And you can take selfies! New policy. Photography Is OK!

Visited en route on a road bike trip with my son to orient point. An excellent collection for a regional museum. The building itself isn't too appealing from the outside but is quite attractive inside. Enjoyed both permanent and temporary exhibits.

The museum is in a beautiful building-the main hall felt cathedral like-high beamed ceilings. Eclectic collection-really enjoyed the opportunity to learn about new artists.

The Parrish Art Museum is an excellent place to spend an hour or two: On our annual visits, we always enjoy the interesting permanent collection including many artists with a local connection and the well-curated and thought-provoking special exhibits. We also appreciate the interplay of the open airy architecture and the landscaping: During the summer, the field of wildflowers in... More

After entering the nearly hidden entrance of the Parrish Art Museum, the interior is spacious with easy access to the galleries. The stark exterior could double as a farmers market; a prime location to sell produce and baked goods. It could be a source of revenue for the museum. All joking aside, the architecture and landscaping compliment the natural beauty... More

We received a free tour of the collection. While we learned some interesting things about some of the artists, the fact that we were being obviously read to was somewhat disconcerting. This is a large building which looks like a long greenhouse from the road but is actually quite effective at displaying a fairly large collection of modern and contemporary... More
