While driving to a winery, my husband and I saw this interesting looking museum and stopped in. We were pleasantly surprised to find this open airy modern building with a wonderful assortment of exhibits. They also have a lovely shop and cafe to visit.

We saw an article on the Chuck Close Exhibit and restructured our Manhattan travel plans so we could see it. The Museum is outstanding. They did an outstanding job curating the Chuck Close exhibit and we enjoyed their modern permanent galleries. The Museum does an excellent job in conveying a Long Island sense of place. The gift shop is one... More

This is a great museum; it has a great collection of primarily modern art from local artists. We enjoyed the architecture, the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the fact that the collection size was not too overwhelming. We finished the visit in one hour though we could have spent another hour if we had the time. The cost was $10... More

We've seen wonderful exhibits here, stopping on the way out east or making a special trip just to the museum. Big airy open space with intelligent choices of artwork beautifully displayed. Top notch gift shop and cafe, too.

Loved everything about this museum. Wearing the headphones to describe the artwork made it more interesting. Even the hubby, who is not an art buff, really enjoyed it!

The Parrish moved from Southhampton town center to this field where it looks like a long house from the outside but inside it is breathless, light and airy and a perfect place to see their collection of treasures. I wouldn't miss this if I were in the area for a while. Very special.

Not too big to overwhelm and loose interest and not too small to not make it worth a trip. The exhibits are thought provoking and the gift shop superb.

I took my 17 year old daughter and her friend visiting from the Czech Republic on a beautiful Sunday. We had an excellent docent tour. Everyone loved it. And you can take selfies! New policy. Photography Is OK!
