Well worth your time to go see this beautiful modern structure loaded with wonderful international and local art! Music and children programs brings a unique feel to this diamond in the sand! I have been here many times and a proud member...and I will always go back!!

Visited the new facility shortly after it opened in its new home (November 2012, not April 2013 as shown but tripadvisor doesn't give this option). Difficult to find, and almost totally impossible to find entry - almost no useful signage at all. There were half a dozen of us wandering around the very unfriendly, uninviting architecture looking for an entry,... More

The Parrish Museum recently moved to its new building designed by the Swiss Architects Hertzog & de Meuron. The new building although thoroughly modern, takes it's inspiration from the surrounding farm-lands and itself resembles a barn-like structure with it's clean forms, simple detailing and materials. The layout is pretty straight forward with 10 gallery spaces of various sizes flanking a... More

The new building is really fabulous - basically a modern interpretation of a rustic barn. Located in a beautiful setting overlooking the adjacent vineyards. The collection was excellent - particularly the exhibit we saw there that included artists such as Pollock and Debuffet. The food at the cafe was really great - we actually ended up eating there twice in... More

Beautifully constructed to take full advantage of natural light to best showcase the artwork. Very inviting size, not to much not to little - great space in which to experience the art. Timely turnover of exhibits keeps the experience fresh. Highly recommended.

In my opinion the museum space is dynamic and interesting but they don't have much to see yet. They charge full price but then give you free passes for the next visit. Unfortunately for out of towners it's far to go to re-visit. There were too many security guards who follow you around into the rooms which made my party... More

Grew up in the Hamptons and this summer I got the opportunity to go home and check out the new location. Some found it distateful - but the design is so clean that it allows you to focus on the actual ART. When I was young I took art classes at the old Parrish and remembered the smell, the lady... More

a museum of the new york art world that lends itself to the intelligent and genteel... . its roots in the old school keep this place sane. Southampton's Parrish has moved to Water Mill but it retains its white shoes.

I loved the architecture which was the perfect backdrop for the art. The pieces chosen for the exhibits (permanent and visiting collections) are a wonderful cross section of important works from 20th and 21st centuries. Not a huge amount of work but each piece thoughtfully chosen. This is a world class collection in a beautiful setting. Thank you!
