I'm not much of a golfer, as I don't play often and I took it up very late in life. But I did enjoy Ravenwood, as it's is a fun, challenging, and very picturesque course. If you hit the ball fairly straight there, you will usually end in a pretty playable location. The staff there is also very friendly and... More

We played Ravenwood this week and unfortunately after. 4 holes the rain started. No problem we were given a rain voucher good at anytime no termination date. We decided to go back the next day and it was great. This course is by far one of the best public courses in New York State. The course is immaculate, the tee... More

This is a really nice and challenging golf course. The carts have gps in them and there are many sand traps. The green fees are quite a bit higher than the other courses near by but the course is a little nicer.

In our 19 years of golfing, with our 28 golfers, we play a lot of courses. We found Ravenwood four years ago. This year the course was in masterful shape. All the staff were very professional and helpful. We bombard the poor girl in the restaurant and she prepares our six beer and sandwiches laughing all the time. We get... More

Ravenwood is a fantastic public course that is in very nice condition. I have probably played it 5 times, and every time I had a different experience. When they want to, they can make the course extremely difficult. I have played in a few national junior tournament there, (AJGA, IJGT) and they set the course up to play very hard.... More

We attended for a wedding reception. Things sometime can get a bit confusing at an event like this. Everything seemed organized. The only negative remarks I heard from other guests was that the dance floor was a bit small but I guess that's a minor issue depending on how many folks are dancing at the same time. This place is... More

Ravenwood Golf Course is one of the gems in upstate New York. This course is in excellent condition. Greens roll smoothly, fairways are lush and the rough is playable. The location is outside the city, so it's quiet and serene...a great combination if you are looking to enjoy a day away from the hustle of the city. The carts have... More

We booked a 3 day Golf School through National Golf School and selected Ravenwood in Rochester as our destination. What a treat! The Golf Course is adjacent to I-90, but you have no idea that the world is racing by on the Interstate. The golf course is scenic, and has many elevation changes and undulating fairways. The greens had a... More

I played Ravenwood last Sunday and played there 3 weeks ago too. I believe Ravenwood is having serious problems with their greens this year. Very bumpy, uneven grass, bare patches, no consistent roll. Before you start the starter warns for pace of play and keep karts of the long grass. Maybe before a person pays they should warn of the...
