My husband and I were staying in Syracuse and decided to check out Turning Stone one evening. We tried to eat at one of the restaurants, but the maitre'd was very rude so we decided to try the buffett. Boy were we glad we did - great selection of food, reasonably-priced and our waiter was friendly. After dinner, we wanted... more

My experience as the Bride was an affair not to be remembered. Staff was unfriendly and poorly trained from the spa to the banquet staff. Where do I begin: I was given the okay to check my banquet room the night before the event to make sure all was in order, I had left charts for the sales team to... more

I just attended a two day conference in this casino resort and can honestly say that it is one of the better venues for this type of affair. The room was clean and the bathroom nicely done in tile with a walk-in shower large enough for a party. I found only one large, black hair on the sink when unpacking,... more

I grew up 20 miles from Turning Stone and have been visiting for the last 10 years. This was the first time I stayed overnight. Rumors among family and friends hinted at a casino/hotel that had finally become a respected establishment. Let me tell you, it still has a long, long way to go. My friend stayed at the Lodge,... more

We visit Turning Stone Casino about 2 to 3 times/year. My family lives in Utica, NY, so it's very close, and we often book lodging at Turning Stone. Once you get past the disappointment of not actually dropping in and winning actual quarters, the machines are actually a lot of fun! I have a few slots/electronic games that are my... more

This was my first trip to Turning Stone. It was a bus trip upstate. So we received $25 gambling/or bingo credit and a $5.00 dining card, each day. Bingo...large crowd, well organized. But ..front room was very smoky. Even the smokers in our party were complaining. Food-- with the $5.00 dining card went far with the food in the bingo... more

What a beautiful casino! Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but when we pulled up to the main entrance I was blown away. The valet services was so friendly. The front desk people were excellent. I think whoever teaches the employees guest services got a thing or 10 right! The only thing I don't like are the slots. You need to... more

We hadn't been to the Casino in close to 10 years, but we decided to take advantage of the weekend and participate in the Thanksgiving Day buffet ($35 ea) from 12-5 p.m. The one detail that seemed to be lacking (online or off) was the location of the event. Online, the "convention center" was referenced, and looking at the map... more

I really love the whole turning stone resort and usually have a good time at slots, but did i have a bad experience last night! i lost so much money so fast, that now i am wondering if i dropped some money on the floor! i am rather certain that it all got played. I was betting $1.50 - $2.25... more

Beautiful...clean...quiet....trying to be a big casino....problem....nice place to visit...but if you play the slots this is not the casino to go to...have no idea what there payoff percentage is but I can assure you the slots don't hit...no matter how much you put into the machine they very rarley pay anything back..Most people don't mind not winning but it would... more
