My husband, mother and I took out kids to the hidden valley animal reserve for my son's bday. This was one of my most favorite trips that we have attended as a family! I honestly loved every minute I was there! I could not get enough of the adorable animals. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place.... More

the grounds are well tended, the small animal part is okay but the kids (6 and 7 year olds) thought it was great. feeding goats and seeing birds and donkeys friendly. the tour part was just so informative and delightful! a tram towed by a tractor drives through different areas with different animals just hanging out - they come over... Went here with a group of friends on a gorgeous fall day. Stop by the grill for lunch first and was impressed. A nice lunch menu of burgers, wraps, etc but also some game too: Elk, Bison or water Buffalo burgers, Bison sausage and more. Shared a bowl of chicken wing soup with my wife, nice, creamy, spicy, lots of... More

The tour guides and the entire trip through the valley are spectacular. The animals you see up close and personal are real and cared for. Children of all ages (including adults!) will love feeding the animals and hearing about them and their origins. A "must see" on anyone's list of things to do!

This was a great day. The kids had enough running around and excitement to keep them happy, but nothing was too strenuous for the grandparents. We all got some fresh air and exercise and our guide on the trailer pulled by a tractor through the animal encampment was very knowledgeable and patient. Laurie told us all about the animals and... We were concerned when we drove out to HVAA that it would be completely kid centered (and we don't have any), but it was fun for 2 adults too. Very laid back, but tons of interaction with animals and the staff was very friendly. We ate lunch and both enjoyed our burger (mine was the elk and my husband's was... More

The trolley ride was rough but a lot of fun and interesting. Everyone enjoyed feeding the animals. Petting zoo was one of the highlites. Will return when we can take some of... More

Beautiful facilities in the middle of the countryside, but our purpose in going there was not to see a lovely banquet facility, a bar and restaurant facility at another level, waterfall gardens and a lovely landscaped pond. It appears that much more has been invested in facilities than in animals. The small animal area was a big disappointment. The trolley... More
