I love this zoo, great variety of attractions. we buy the family pass and go quite frequently. The kids love it (and so do the adults). Our favorites are the fish, tigers, elephants and penguins.

It's a great place to take kids. It's very family friendly and for a small zoo has variety. Every time I go there is something new. A little gem in Syracuse

For all those who've NEVER been....GO! I live in Buffalo and our zoo is $12 and it's SMALLER than the Syracuse zoo but the Syracuse zoo is $8 and 2 of the Buffalo Zoo's, fit in the Syracuse zoo. From the amazing exhibit for the elephants and monkeys to the down to earth and chill way the animals actually interact... More

Although a smaller zoo in terms of what is out there, it is full of surprises.... great for kids, just big enough with lots of variety...

A visit to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo is a must do when in Syracuse. It is especially popular with the younger set. Year round, indoor or out, the zoo has so many animals to see and learn about. From special occasions, such as the Brew at the Zoo, to student field trips to draw and paint the birds and animals,... More

Both of my kids grew up with this zoo. It's just the right size for little ones to walk/run around the whole zoo. A nice mixture of indoor and outdoor exhibits. Even though it's small, it has lions, tigers, bears, elephants, penguins and a nice assortment of primates. Haven't been there in several years, but they seem to be slowly... More

I found the zoo to be very clean and the staff very friendly. This was my first visit since a school field trip. A lot of care is apparent.

The variety and condition of the animals was good. They were kept in clean safe cages that gave good vantages for observations. Lions and penguins are highlights. They could spread concessions round more and some animals are a long walk. All in all worth the trip.

I'm not really from this area, but stopped by since I was visiting the mall in Syracuse. The Zoo is big, although they do not have the variety of animals I thought I would see. But my children enjoyed it.
