Living in Upstate New York, we were looking for a day trip since it was relatively sunny and the temps were in the mid 20s. We were aware of the zoo in Syracuse, but had never driven over to go to it. The zoo was advertising Snow Leopard Days with reduced admission, so we thought we would give it a... More

A must visit if in or traveling thru Syracuse. One of the best zoos in NY State, the zoo is easy to find and get too and has plenty for families to see and do. The zoo is great in both Summer and Winter, they have 4 connected exhibit areas in one large building that houses fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds,... More

Beautiful zoo and definitely worth checking out if you have a few hours to spare. Absolutely loved the elephant exhibit.

It has been 5 months since our last visit there, but we have no problem remembering our visit in July. Each time we visit this zoo we are amazed at new exhibits as well as the care of existing exhibits. The animals are well maintained and are active as well as being interactive with the zoo goers. We have visited... More

We just returned from our fourth visit to this Zoo, and first trip in the wintertime. Each time, I've been impressed at how well cared for the animals here are and the overall cleanliness of the zoo. Originally hesitant to go on the weekend, we were pleasantly surprised at how active the animals were on a mild winter day. The... More

This Zoo is wonderful, even spacious for handicap accessibility. There is so much to see, and the variety of animals, etc. Is well worth the trip and value. Clean, restaurant there, with lots of area for seating inside and out. Their gift shop is cute, too. Definately worth taking your loved ones for a day trip!

I love this zoo, great variety of attractions. we buy the family pass and go quite frequently. The kids love it (and so do the adults). Our favorites are the fish, tigers, elephants and penguins.

It's a great place to take kids. It's very family friendly and for a small zoo has variety. Every time I go there is something new. A little gem in Syracuse

For all those who've NEVER been....GO! I live in Buffalo and our zoo is $12 and it's SMALLER than the Syracuse zoo but the Syracuse zoo is $8 and 2 of the Buffalo Zoo's, fit in the Syracuse zoo. From the amazing exhibit for the elephants and monkeys to the down to earth and chill way the animals actually interact... More

Although a smaller zoo in terms of what is out there, it is full of surprises.... great for kids, just big enough with lots of variety...
