We thought the Rosamond Gifford Zoo was an excellent value for the admission price and a lot of fun! The cost to get in is quite reasonable, and if you visit 3 or more times a year it is worth it to purchase a membership. On our first visit, we were very impressed by the number of exhibits and things... More

Nothing special. Just an awesome zoo. Tigers, bears, elephants, birds, great interactivity with the kids. Cheap and you can take as long as you like

A friend had highly recommended this zoo as "very nice." I read many reviews tending to disagree, but figured I had all day to kill, I might as well see for myself. The admission is $8, and it was worth it. I've been to worse zoos that charged more. First of all, the zoo opens at 10:00. Being from another... More

Fun, laughs, and cuteness alert! The fish, frogs, octopus, jelly fish all start you off with beautiful colors... see Nemo look alike! Spot the turtles, insects, underwater alligators lying so still, and even a LARGE lizard. Then the dark sanctuary of the sloth triplets, desert foxes, bats, is mysterious. (Hold your nose) and try to keep the little ones quiet for... More

Great small zoo. Very clean and animals obviously well cared for. Great bunch of volunteers who are are well informed, gracious and obviously love this place. Very nice layout with rolling hills and diversity of landscapes which gives you a sense that the zoo is really much bigger than it is. Great for small children. Only negative is "Jungle Cafe",... The people who run this zoo are doing a great good. A lot bigger than I expected, with many animals to view. The layout is great, with hills and woods for the animals. Good range of animals as well. $8 to get in well worth it. Only negative is it is off the beaten path, and not many zoo sign's... More

We took our daughter here to escape the stress of University and it was great fun for all of us. It is a small zoo but well laid out and clean.

This is a beautifully maintained zoo...small enough for an afternoon visit with kids! Easy to walk the entire zoo...bring your own food as the food there is mediocre.

This was a nice zoo. The price was reasonable and we spent over an hour here. There are both indoor and outdoor exhibits. There are also different animal shows through out the day.

There is a lot to see at the zoo. Wear comfortable shoes for walking and plan on an all day adventure!
