The people who run this zoo are doing a great good. A lot bigger than I expected, with many animals to view. The layout is great, with hills and woods for the animals. Good range of animals as well. $8 to get in well worth it. Only negative is it is off the beaten path, and not many zoo sign's... More

We took our daughter here to escape the stress of University and it was great fun for all of us. It is a small zoo but well laid out and clean.

This is a beautifully maintained zoo...small enough for an afternoon visit with kids! Easy to walk the entire zoo...bring your own food as the food there is mediocre.

This was a nice zoo. The price was reasonable and we spent over an hour here. There are both indoor and outdoor exhibits. There are also different animal shows through out the day.

There is a lot to see at the zoo. Wear comfortable shoes for walking and plan on an all day adventure!

Always very interesting to see all the animals with the kids. The staff was friendly and willing to share info. Boys loved the elephant show!!! Many inside enclosures in case it rains there is still plenty to see! Nice restaurant with reasonable prices. Cute gift shop with some Nice toys but Overpriced stuffed animals ! Overall a good time!

I have been to a lot of zoo, and of the ones in upstate NY - the one in Syracuse is the best. It has a great layout - not too big, nor too small and cramped. They have it laid out like a walk in a park, have a wide variety of animals in solid exhibits, and plenty of... More

We just took 4 grandkids, ages 3, 6, 9 and 11 to the zoo, and had a great time, even in the high heat and humidity. There are outdoor enclosures, and also indoor exhibits to escape the sun. The buildings and the walks were notably clean and well-tended. Safe and fun.

We went to the NYS Fair and decided to add this to our weekend itinerary just to fill time. A little tricky to find without a GPS and you drive through a rough (but safe) neighborhood so we weren't expecting too much, after all it was just a zoo, right? WRONG!! It was like we drove into a small piece... More
