I've been to zoos all around the country so I was a bit skeptical that Syracuse could possibly live up to any of the others. They might be small (it only takes a few hours to do the main loop) but what they do, they do well and affordably. The primate playground was fascinating. The 2pm elephant talk and "show"... More

Nice blend of indoor and out with plenty of diversity among the animals too! Great seating for rest stops, a place to have lunch and unwind!

Nice place for young and old alike. Many different animals in both indoor and outdoor areas. I would like to return to see the new baby elephants I've read about.

Wow. What a lovely zoo. Wide variety of animals. Nice cafe. Very clean park and very family friendly. A lot of benches along the way for family members who may need to rest-as we had. Great price for the entrance and the food & beverage costs were below average for similar entertainment. Took about 3-3/12 hours to see everything.

At 8$ per adult you can go wrong , its not a big zoo but everything is well placed and most of the animals seems to have a lot of space to moove , pinguin's pool is the nicest part.

We go to the zoo often and are never disappointed. There are always new animals to see and exhibit improvements.

A great way to spend the day. Reasonably priced. Great selection of exhibits and animals. The penguin exhibit was the highlight. Could spend the day watching them!

A small zoo but very well done. As a US Navy Vet was pleasantly pleased they let Veteran in for free. Bird show was disappointing and was sad to see many animals alone in many of the exhibits. Young staff need a PR lesson.

This zoo is a very inexpensive place to visit. At $8 per adult and $4 per child under 18 it's a great value. If you are a Veteran/Active, or retired Military, it is free with up to 3 family members. The site is well planned out so there is no backtracking, and a large variety in animals.
