I was very excited to bring my 5 year old to the zoo for the meet & greet with Siri the elephant. I emailed the zoo and received a response from the public relations director confirming the elephant encounter was still available. In turn, I told my daughter she was going to get to pet an elephant. The public relations... More

I am not much of a "zoo" person. I'd rather see animals in their natural, wild environments. But I took some visitors from the Philippines to this zoo so they could see some animals native to the US and the Northeast in particular, and they loved this zoo. I also took my children when they were young, and they enjoyed... More

I have always enjoyed this zoo - we've been there many times. Only thing that stinks is it's SO busy on holidays and weekends. But it's a good way to kill a couple hours.

Nothing special and the animas looked sad. We zipped through the whole thing in an hour. Free for military. Would not go back again.

I was looking for something to do outside while waiting to help my son move home from Syracuse. Weather and being outside perfect. Zoo was pitiful to say the least. Many exhibit's empty for renovation. Very little activity and many exhibits only had one animal. I did not expect much but this did not work for me even with a... More

Smaller then expected but overall a nice zoo. A lot of the animals were sleeping, we went at 1230 on a nice day in May. I would recommend going earlier in the day, it was very busy at this time. Free for military was an awesome perk, thank you! Nice gift shop but to small was very over crowded. Overall... More

My last two zoo visits were the National Zoo in Washington DC and Whipsnade Zoo, Dunstable, UK. This zoo looked run down, animals not in too great a shape, and was fairly depressing. I realize putting a zoo in the middle of snow capital America may not be the easiest sort of thing to maintain but the barren ground just... More

We love visiting this zoo with our children!! Awesome exhibits, some of the coolest animals, and it's not too much walking- which is great for smaller children.. The elephants were our favorite!! 💖

I didn't expect much from this zoo but the reviews were good and spot on. The zoo is kind of small but it's got a lot of good animals to see and it's not a lot of walking for the kids. The tigers, elephants, and wolves were great exhibits. One thing I experienced that I'd never seen before at any... More
