Thank you middle ages for being there. I know the laws have not caught up to the maturity of craft beer drinkers. So it is hard to not laugh at the silly little rules they make when it comes to when, where and how much we can sample your fine craft beers. So in the meantime, we will fill our... More

Middle Ages Brewing was great. You get 7 large samples for 3$ or if you buy any souvenir the samples are free. The beers were wonderful and everyone working there was very cool.

$3 for 7 samples. Generous sample sizes. Tasting fee waived with any purchase. Friendly staff. Be careful if you have cat allergies - at least 2 cats walking around in the tasting area.

The staff was very friendly! We stopped in at the end of their day. They served us some great samples! Had some really nice t-shirts. Beers were great! Normally my wife is picky and she enjoyed all her beers! There was a mailman that stopped in to get beer and gave us samples of his homemade jerky. We thought we... More

If you like microbrews, Middle Ages is worth a visit. We first discovered MAB during their 2nd year of operation and now they've just celebrated 19 years. We haven't been in the areas for four years, but a recent vacation found us passing by and a stop was in order. They have greatly expanded their selection. The tasting room is... More

No food, but very good beer and company when I visited. Even though the place was busy, the bartend immediately asked me if I would like a sample and cleared a spot for me...unfortunately, the place was closing in 15 minutes so my samples were limited. The patrons were all pleasant and inclusive. I would recommend stopping and trying their... More

This was my second brewery experience. For now, there is no tasting fee which is a definite plus (I believe this is changing in May). But, that also might explain why the place was so crowded. It almost seemed like a place locals come to hang out at almost like a bar. The beers here were pretty good, my husband... More

Very good beer and the samples are all completely free. On the Saturday afternoon when we dropped in, it was busy so it does get a little cramped and there are no seats. But . . . did you hear what I said at first? Great beer for free! Even buying a small growler with beer at the end and... More

We stopped in Syracuse on the way to somewhere else and planned our brewery stops. Got to Middle Ages around 6 intentionally for the tour only to learn that there were no tours on Saturdays. PLEASE PUT THIS ON YOUR WEBSITE. As we came in, a gentleman approached us and asked if we like Jerky, and then told us he... More

Come as you are and enjoy a really relaxed experience featuring excellent ales offered by an operation that knows how good it is-- no rush, no hype. As noted by others it can be busy on the weekends and late afternoons, but even at its most hectic, folks will usually give you access to the counter for refills. Ales for... More
