I am not sure if this place is typical of conference centers, but certainly they must be aware that it's freezzzzing cold in the conference rooms. Hence my average rating. The space is fine and nice, well lit lobby. They have steps, escalators, and elevators in the building.

The Civic Cener part of the Oncenter complex is a great concert and theater venue. We expirienced the show Hair and with an intimate gathering you felt like you were part of the show that friends were putting on for you in you home or back yard. Great cast too bad Covey is closing its operations after this show. Worth... More

This was one of the worst places I have been for a trade show. No cabs outside waiting for people. Calling a cab service is the only way to get picked up. It is not convenient when it is snowing, blowing and about 15 degrees.

I've been visiting The Oncenter located in the heart of Syracuse from the year 1995, and I watched Lord of the Rings there back then staged by original artists. The only problem I sometimes face there is a long walk for getting into parked car, if the normal parking space is full.

We were there over the weekend for a dance competition. Very easy place to find. Parking garage connects to the convention center or they also have an outdoor parking lot. $9 to park...kinda pricy, but average for event parking. Competition was in exhibit hall A. Fairly large room, plenty of chairs to sit in, and back room was used as... More

Seriously?!! Way too small. Nowhere enough seating so we had to stand for SEVERAL hours. No food/drink allowed in and only one line for food/drink. At one point the line wait was over an hour. Trash was not kept up on at all. The bathrooms were not very clean at all either. This place is way too small to stuff... More

Part of the ONCENTER in downtown Syracuse. Theater performances are in the John H. Mulroy Civic Center. The Crouse-Hinds Concert Theater is the large theater in the Civic Center. Three levels. Has elevator and escalators. Need to use stairs to reach top part of balcony. Front row of balcony has low hand rail. Vision not obstructed. Bathrooms on each level.... More

There are 3 buildings in this complex: The Civic Center, The Onondaga County War Memorial, and the Convention Center.I used to work as the Coodinator of Volunteer Ushers for the 3 theaters in the Civic Center. Every show that came into that building, I was in charge of getting ushers for that show. Sometimes, there would be 3 shows at... More

Great entertainment watching the young prospects for Tampa Bay Lighting play there way into the big leagues. Plenty of parking, great prices for games, and average cost of food and beverage.

We went to a Syracuse Crunch game at the ONcenter. It was lots of fun and given the size of the arena, there are no bad seats. It was a family friendly experience as well. We arrived a bit late so there wasn't a lot of street parking left, but we did end up finding a lot nearby that was... More
