We took 6 kids to the amusement park recently. We were there in late August and the place was not busy at all. The adults enjoyed the arcade while the kids enjoyed the rides. We bought all the kids wristbands. The rides and facilities are quite old and sometimes "safety" came to my mind. But in the end, everyone came... More

Changed quite a bit since I was a kid but still enjoyed the park. No admission fee to the park which is a treat!

This park is very small opened in 1879.I don't know if rides were installed that year. There are very few rides. The rides they have are some older rides that you don't see at other parks. Rides like the Galaxy coaster,The Rotor,Tip Top,Rock O Plane and an old style Himalayan ride. There are a few kiddie rides,a dark ride. There's... More

Very old fashioned, cute amusement park. Spent the day on Sylvan Beach with my daughter and of course we had to go on a few rides. Very old rides, but still lots of fun. Rides take tickets, which are $1 per ticket, and each ride takes 3-4 tickets each. Unlimited ride band is $21.95, or you can purchase multi tickets... More

This is an old time amusement park. I brought my 14 year old and he did have fun with the games. When he won tickets he just gave them away because of his age there was no prizes for a teenager. But it was a fun time.

We mostly stayed at the Kiddieland area which was completely under staffed. The rides were perfect for my children 6 and under. There are roughly 12 rides total and there were only 2 people working at 3 in the afternoon so the children were constantly waiting to get on a ride. I know waiting is inevitable but that hour of... The rides are old and expensive. The grounds are dirty and the "beach" was filthy! The kids were even bored with this "attraction". The lake was pretty from afar, but up close was dirty. Yuck. Waste of time and money!

This park has been around since I was a kid(60 years ago) at least, and some of the area really looks like it is old. The grandkids loved the rides and arcade. The restrooms were dirty and in poor repair. The beach itself is beautiful. I know they are trying to update and I hope they can find the money... More
