We had come to the Island to visit the Alice Austen House, found the excellent Rispoli Pastry Shop for lunch and then met a friendly and helpful resident who gave us some excellent background to the history of the area. We were standing outside the rather underwhelming exterior of the theatre and it was on his recommendation that we entered,... More

Wanting to see something of Staten Island but not sure what we wandered off the ferry aimlessly. Stumbling across this gem was the best thing that could have happened on my husband's birthday. The wonderful receptionist took us for a tour of the ornate interior which should really be on any guided your of the Art Deco period. Elaborate in... More

The outside of this theatre is pretty unprepossessing, and gives no hint of the stunning interior. Yes, it's a little tired in places; but it's clearly much loved by the owners, who are slowly but surely renovating the place. Go see it!

I purchased 2 tickets to see Shrek on the website and no where on the site did it state that it was a kids show. I then received a flyer in the mail and an email which then stated that it was indeed a children's show. I purchased the tickets for two adults. When I called the box office to... More

We attended the Memories of Frank Sinatra show on Saturday, October 3, 2015. The ad for this venue stated: "Featuring a 40 piece orchestra with Sinatra's pianist Vincent Falcone, Jr., as well as, many musicians who have formally played with Frank Sinatra. Also stated in the ad was that "There would be displayed a marvelous array of Sinatra memorabilia to... More

The Saint George Theatre has been undergoing a complete renovation/restoration for several years now and has finally reached a point where it's newly modernized stage and brand new theatre seating provide a wonderful venue for big name talent to bring their shows to a local, historic site. On our last visit, we saw Craig Ferguson, who delivered a top notch... More

This place reminds me of a surprise gift box. You walk in and it's always a great night out. I've seen Rock concerts, comics, I'm seeing Gypsy there sunday and they have a great open mike night upstairs where locals and up and comers perform. It's a great venue in Staten Island and the restoration is beautiful.

Beautiful theatre. Getting better every time we come. If you are in Staten Island you must stop to see. One of the most beautiful theaters of all time.

I've been here a few times. Each time I am blown away how beautiful this theatre is. It is small enough that all seats a good. The drinks are good. The bathroom is clean. Prices reasonable.
