My family booked a weekend at Skaneteles Suites in Skanteteles NY, the primary purpose of which was to swim in Lake Skaneteles, purported to be the second cleanest body of water in the US. I remember this Guest, and his request. First, as a member of this community, I apologize that we do not have a traditional swimming beach. While there is public swimming in the Village Center, these Guests wanted to "wade" in. I referred them to the lake access point they described, but only after qualifying it as very inadequate.
