Spending the day in Skaneateles is like walking through a quaint Village on the New England Coast. Numerous little shops to browse, places to stop and get a bite to eat, or just sit on a lakeside bench and enjoy the scenery and an ice cream cone. The Lake also is renowned for its fishing as well as its clarity.

The Village of Skaneateles and the lake itself are well worth a visit at any time of year. The lake is wonderfully clear and inviting and the boat traffic is modest. Strolling in the adjoining park at the head of the lake is simply wonderful and the community is most welcoming. It is clearly one if the finest of the... More

Clear, see-to-the-bottom lake. Gorgeous! Pretty park surrounding lake and quaint little stores in town. Love visiting this lake!
