We continue to be impressed with the programming at this theater. The touring groups bring quality entertainment to the area, close to New York City quality. The recent performance of "Newsies" featured incredible choreography and dancers, making this simple show extremely entertaining. Do not miss future offerings at this breathtaking theater.

The place is very historical, it's also very haunted. But I absolutely love proctors! The marble staircase is absolutely beautiful here and I love the theater. I also love the fact that they have the other area that helps make for more personal concerts when they do small ones!

Since they re-did the stage for larger shows, they've been getting some great ones. We saw the Phantom there and other productions and had a great time and was very impressed with the quality of the productions. They also have a great oldies show a couple times a year.

Probably the nicest theater in the region. Has a blend of old style, cleanliness, and modern lighting/sound. Great acoustics. Have a plan for parking. There are lots nearby. In winter or if it's a of event the parking garage can get backed up so come early (at such times) and get a prime spot. Otherwise leaving is cumbersome, like a... More

I am in love with this theater! The overall exterior makes you feel like you're living in the era of Greta Garbo and young Barbra Streisand. I went there to watch West Side Story and will be going there again to watch Mamma Mia! It's a great place to visit if one would like to experience the 30s throughout the... More

A true landmark of Schenectady. This theater is like a time machine, once you enter you feel like your in the 1920's, but in a good way. Unfortunately they took down their cool old marquee and replaced it with a digital one that looks like garbage.

I love seeing shows of all kinds here. it's a great venue, with easy and reasonable parking. we come several times a year, and really should look into the series for better value. Wish there were more dining options in walking distance - good luck thinking you can just walk into decent food without a reservation when the big shows... More

We went to see Phantom and it was great as usual. They did a masterful job with the sets. It was really impressive. We've been to various shows and sat in various areas. I haven't had a bad seat yet. There are refreshments and the staff and volunteers so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend seeing a show of... More
