The main theater alone is worth the price of admission, Parking is good, show selection is so varied, during a season they offer something for everyone. They support smaller programs as well, having shows in the smaller venues that also have great seating design and offer entertainers that you just wouldn't get in this area any other way.

One of the premier show venues outside of Manhattan, Proctor's has dazzled since it's Vaudeville start in 1926. Major restoration work in the late 70's has returned it to it's former glory . From classic off-Broadway shows to American Film Institute movies, Proctor's appeals to a wide audience base and is well-worth a visit if for no other reason than... More

Last night we went to the sold-out showing of Les Miserables. This was our 3rd time to Proctor's, but our first sold-out show. The seats were wonderful (balcony, middle) and comfortable and had a great view. The place was packed and you had no chance in h*ell of getting into the ladies room during intermission, but it was totally worth... More

Proctors is a great place to go see plays and shows the only thing is it's not as disabled friendly as it should be causing some discomfort and issues with the simplest things of taking a personal disability to a restroom. You must leave theater get to elevator go up one floor etc. seating inside of theater is very nice,... More

Proctor's is beautiful. It's a wonderful place to see a show; we go every year for the Melodies of Christmas, and whenever we can to see one of the many fabulous shows they offer. It is always a wonderful experience.

We brought the kids to this theater to see Wicked and also have gone to other events at Proctors - a great place to spend an evening. Nice architecture, easy parking and not far to travel.

Proctors is like family to me. I have been volunteering and helping Proctors raise money for the last 20 years. I have seen it grow and become a major force in helping Schenectady downtown turn around. Phillip Moris - CEO is a force and visionary. This coming years line up is not to be missed!

I absolutely love live theater and the quality of performances that Proctor's is able to attract is wonderful. From Wicked to the upcoming Les Miserables - it's got a nice, "old theater" feel.
