I took my daughter and her friend to Maple Ski Ridge so that they could learn to snow board. They had a great time and got great lessons from the staff. The cost was reasonable and it's great that it's nearby. My wife and I enjoyed the snack area while the girls were snow boarding. We got some snacks and... More

Both my kids learned to ski and snowboard at Maple Ski Ridge. Its the perfect size for beginner to intermediate skiers/snowboarders and their ski school is the best in the area. The mountain is not that big, and there are not as many trails as you'll find at larger ski spots like Jimminy Peak, etc. But it is a perfect... More

Great place to bring your whole family for a day or night on the slopes. Wonderful place for kids or beginners to learn to ski.

Best military discount going from a family owned business that cares about the men and women who serve in the armed forces. Great ski experience. Fun for the whole family. Will definitely return.

Psst.... the best place to teach children how to ski. GREAT staff can't say enough about this friendly place. There is a ski lodge for the one family member that tags along w/o any intention of skiing:) There's a snack stand but you should bring your own.

It's not Killington or Vail, but if you're just learning, it's perfect, and close to home if you live in the capital district. My 7 y/o took lessons (once/week for 6 weeks), and is now tearing down the mountain faster than I dare go.

We taught our kids to ski there. Our youngest was a ski instructor there years ago. Great place for kids to learn to ski at a reasonable cost. Very family friendly

I only know how great it is by the fact that our great grandchildren almost live there when there is snow

Well organised and good value. Snack bar is worth a visit as well. It is small so a good skiier may get bored quickly. I enquired about lessons but did not get a very welcome reception because I was part way through the season.
