The Tang Museum is a gem!! If you get the opportunity, you should make this one of your stops! It sits on the pristine lawns of Skidmore College Campus right next to a relaxing pond. It's free to the public and the exhibits are from artists all over the world. Really top notch! Worth your time and wonderful grounds. Also... More

This is a find in Saratoga. The Museum of Skidmore College, it is free to see and has a variety of great shows that last for months at a time. Very few permanent exhibits so you have to check their website for what's on when you're in town. They have a small Indian (Asian) art exhibit and a big one... More

Every time I have been here I have been impressed. Great works of art and lovely staff to explain the works. The exhibitions change so always something a bit different. Not a stuffy place. Very unpretentious.

The Tang Teching Museum and Art Gallery bosts some of the most beautiful architecture and the galleries are vast. This small outer appearing museum is out together very well, from the exhibition design, the lighting to the amazing staff. Love this museum!

The Tang Teaching Museum was one of my favorite places to visit while living in Saratoga Springs. The exhibitions are well designed with unique artists from all over the world. The size is nice as well with three floors! There's also a little shop to buy souvenirs and other trinkets.

The Tang is a wonderful modern art museum located on the campus of Skidmore College. There are several galleries which feature changing exhibitions. You can go every month and there will be something interesting to explore. The day we went even featured an installation piece in the elevator! The works displayed are always interesting, though you may not like it.... More

The ugliest building on the ugliest college campus in North America. The outside looks like a Soviet bunker if the bunker's blueprints got folded at weird angles and everyone involved in construction was too afraid to speak up and built it with all the folds still in. This place is invariably filled with the kind of "art" that earns the... More

We stumbled upon this little gem while touring Skidmore College. The exhibit was an installation that had a wading pool with floating dishes that clanked into each other making sounds. We were a bit rushed, as we were with a tour, but delighted to see such an innovative and fresh installation in a small liberal arts college.
