There are some wonderful old photos here of the monuments in the park with detailed explanations of the monuments and sculptures that you will see in Congress Park. You can also see old photos of the springs in the park taken in the 1800s. It's a great place to visit to learn more about the history of the area.

The history museum has all the information you could want on the history of our great city. It is a "not to be missed" venue that you must see to appreciate all that came before!

Our niece was married at the Canfield Casino, a lovely, elegant venue for any special occasion. The bartenders were a bit brusque, but the serving staff were fantastic.

For a modest fee, you can visit this highly interesting museum. We were fortunate enough to have Mr. Lewis Elia as our guide. He is well informed and shared freely his knowledge of Saratoga Spring's history. The third floor is simply wonderful. Of interest to movie fans, a brief scene from "Seabiscuit" was filmed in the great room on the... More

It is not a very large Museum but it give one a look into the history of the area. The third floor is of particular interest with motion activated narratives of each room. There is a small fee for this attraction.

A very small entry fee presenting a very nice historical overview of the history of Saratoga. The third floor exhibit of the Wadworth family was very interesting and great insight into the Gilded Age.

As a historian, I always appreciate the local museums of any place I visit. The volunteers were really helpful and told me some of the ghost stories associated with the building. Make sure to check out the third floor exhibit. Also, the mannequins add a little spookiness the experince. If you like architecture this is a great building. There is... More

The park where the museum and casino (used only for events now- beautiful) is an oasis in the city. Ponds, ducks, flowers fountains, springs and an antique restored carousel. It's a nice destination and near ben and jerry's grab a cone and head over for a stroll- Free except the carousel is like - $1.50

Be sure to look at the pictures on the wall of what the building looked like inside when it was still a casino. It's now rented out for various functions. Has a great museum and beautiful architecture. The park around it is a gem.

Thanks to the lady at desk, I got a personal orientation then proceeded to walk and read my way around entire museum. I now have a great appreciation of the history and understand the highlights of area--esp. the haunted exhibit on 3rd floor!
