Always a great place to go and relax and talk a walk. Beautiful setting with rock gardens, amazing flower gardens and fountains. Very calming. More

Great place to go if you're in the area for the track. Beautiful rose gardens and interesting architecture. Tour available, but I haven't done it. More

Just happened to 'stumble' upon these gardens during a recent trip to Saratoga - what a gem! Currently an artists retreat, with the mansion used as the retreat and closed to the public. There is no charge to visit the gardens. I was told that the mansion is opened once a year to the public. We were too early in... More

Very lovely grounds-wonderful place to walk around and enjoy the gardens and water fountains. Too bad so much of it is not open to the public. More

This was a disappointment. The grounds were not well kept, the fountains were not active, and the road noise from the interstate was LOUD. Granted, the roses were not in bloom, but the other plants were not identified and it was really not worth the time it took to find the place. I would not return, not even to see... More

I've been to the Yaddo gardens many times and it's always a pleasure to visit this wonderful place. From Spring to Fall, this flowers of various kinds are blooming and you'll often find couples of all ages exploring the grounds or just hanging out for a picnic in a lovely setting. The mansion is used by artists for lodging while... More

This very special rose garden was established as a memorial to the children of Spencer and Katrina Trask to memorialize the deaths of their children. Volunteers take care of the beautiful grounds, and are always happy and friendly. The only drawback, if one could call it that, is that the mansion (with the exception of very infrequent occasions) is off-limits.... More

Not bad, not great. If you have spare time and there's nothing to do it's a nice place to bring the kids for a quick stroll or for pictures. But not "out of your way" worthy. More

There is no option above to say I went to the Gardens with my adult son in early Spring on our way into Saratoga to prowl around and eat. Had no real idea what to expect but really enjoyed it. Nobody there but us on a March Saturday. The roses are obviously lovingly cared for and were all pruned and... More
