Just off Exit 14 of the Northway (Route 87) in Saratoga Springs. While the living quarters are private the gardens are open to the public. They are well worth taking in. Pools, fountains, statues, and immaculate formal gardens.

Peaceful and beautiful - definitely worth the stop to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and the track.

Great place to visit and enjoy a beautiful walk! Has a very beautiful story around the creation of this garden. The volunteers who keep this place alive and thriving, do an amazing job. The gardens and flowers are just truly amazing. There is a lot of history around the art school and the entire grounds. Great place for taking pictures!!!... More

Beautiful grounds that are great to take photos on! The flowers are gorgeous and you can walk around and hang out a bit. You can do this in about 20mins and there is free parking.

Yaddo Gardens has to be one of the most tranquil and beautiful places in Saratoga Springs. Even if you cannot spend a lot of time here, you won't want to miss walking through the gardens that were once home to Spencer and Katrina Trask.

I had read about Yaddo and put it on my list of places to see and stretch from a driving break. We came off the freeway, and I easily proceeded to miss the turn into the gardens. We ended up driving through the horse race track area -- which isn't a bad thing, because it was neat to see --... More
