This is one of the sweetest and most relaxing parks you can either stroll or run through. It has several tranquil gardens and ponds to enjoy as well as an historical carousel for the little ones in which to take a fantasy ride. It is also home to the oldest Casino in America with its palladium windows that brides have... More

Congress Park is an excellent place to understand the history of this upstate New York tourist destination. It features the first casino in America, a restored children's carousel, monuments to two of it most famous residents and information on the famous springs of Saratoga. Fredrick Law Olmsted of Central Park fame was part of the parks design team in the... More

Smack in the middle of this bustling city a very well kept wonderful, relaxing park. Complete with a fountain, pond and lovely carousel. A real experiance anchored by the former gaming casino.A must stop in the Spa city.

A beautiful city park, rich with history and stories of some of America's rich, famous and notorious! Do take a tour, you learn about the healthy water, the history of gambling and those who worked so hard to make Saratoga a respectable place!

After lunch on Broadway, we walked down to Congress Park. It was a hot day so. We only spent. About an hour here, but it was a lovely place to relax. Quiet and lots of older trees to offer shade. The benches were all full, so it is definitely a popular location. There're several springs, a couple ponds, many ducks,... More

Very disappointed that this gem of a park was in such disrepair. Lackluster. The park looked neglected. We have loved this park in the past.

Do you care for a little rest and relaxation? There are benches all around as well as beautiful walkways and water fountains. We enjoyed watching the mallard ducks and their babies float along in the little stream.

Kids playing on the grass, families feeding the ducks, Saratoga Shakespeare Company free for 2 weeks in the summer .... what's not to love about this beautiful spot? Picnics, quick soccer matches, tag, riding the carousel, sunbathing, etc. You can pretty much do what you want in these pleasant surroundings, and grab food from Park Eatery, or an ice cream... Great green space situated in the middle of downtown Saratoga Springs. Walking and biking paths, shady seating areas, and a wooden carousel completes this park. Need a nature break? Congress Park is the place to get away in the middle of it all.
