Beautiful park for strolling & relaxing! I was there on a Tuesday when the racetrack was closed--there was a craft market with many vendors & varied & well-curated items. The park has been spruced up for the Saratoga's 150 & it is gorgeous.

Beautiful tranquil area & the Saratoga Race Course is about a 1/2 mile away. Fountains were relaxing to see; enjoyed the local ducks.

100 years ago this was the center of the privileged. Here was Canfield Casino and the great hotel leading it to be called "The Monte Carlo of America. The great industrial tycoons, robber barons and presidents used it as their playground. That heyday has passed, it it remains a beautiful park and destination of the elite still.

We have a carousel. The park is in the middle of our little city. Just walking around is relaxing. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Lots of sculptures. Great atmosphere.

we walked from The Chestnut Tree Inn a few blocks away. the park isn't that big but has the Congress Park Wood Carousel (opens around 11am & cost only $1US), several marble sculptures, fountains (like Spit n Spat), 2 that we saw, of fresh mineral springs-which is potable, of which Saratoga is noted, and a delightful, safe experience in the... We had a nice time wandering through the park, visitor center, and museum. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

it is quite of small but a really nice park with a caroussel for the children, nice pools and fountains, plenty of green for people to spread out and enjoy the quietness of the park.

peaceful, clean and beautiful. What more can you ask for? Nice for a romantic picnic lunch or a place to take the little ones for a carousel ride. The statues and fountains are beautiful. When you're done you can walk up Broadway and hit the shops.

If you are visiting downtown Saratoga Springs, this park is just off of the main drag-Broadway & Spring Street. We stumbled on it and took a stroll there, tasting the spring water from several fountains, and soaking up the postcard scenes around each bend on the short path. The landscape design is by Frederick Law Olmsted of Central Park and... More
