Where else can you sit on he grass and have a picnic while enjoying great performances from the Symphony, to the Ballet, to James Taylor, to Jazzfest, to Phish ?!? There is an indoor auditorium too if you want to sit inside. But I love to sit under the stars and enjoy the show, which is also broadcast on large... More

Sit inside or on the lawn, either way, this is a great place to see a concert! Ballet, philharmonic, rock or jazz, it's all here!

Love seeing a concert on the lawn at SPAC. There's nothing quite like a seat on the lawn under the night sky and stars.

First visit, bought tickets and was inside SPAC, great seats no matter where your seats are located. Great acoustics. Food and beverages are outrageously priced but can bring in sealed water and food or tailgate before concert. Parking well organized and plenty of it. Will def go back for a concert again.

SPAC is the summer home of the Philadelphia Orchestra, one of the world's finest symphony orchestras. The opportunity to hear this wonderful ensemble beneath the stars on a summer's evening is one of the highlights of visiting the area. If you are anywhere near SPAC in August, do not miss this experience, you will not soon forget it, and it... More

I grew up going to concerts at SPAC in Saratoga Springs NY. The venue keeps improving with age. Either on the lawn or seats inside the amphitheater you get a great view of the show. My wife and I take in two/three concerts a summer and are never disappointed.

Luckily we had a nice night to go here...can't imagine if the weather was inclement. We had undercover seats. Went to see Philadelphia Orchestra featuring Yo Yo Ma...he has been on my bucket list for a few years so I had to go! It didn't disappoint! We left after his performance and that was enough for me. Venue is a... More

Went to the Rascal Flats and Cheryl Crow concert. Long uphill walk from the parking lot. We sat in the 8th row and were blasted out by the speaker system. We left and stood outside of the arena pavilion because we could hear and understand the songs better. Wall to wall people drinking beer and smoking pot. I guess you... More

SPAC is a true NY State treasure. Hosting Theater, Ballet, The Philadelphia Orchestra, Pop concerts, rock concerts and jazz all summer long. Our last trip to SPAC was for the finale of the Philadelphia Orchestra in which the 1812 overture was played and accompanied by live canon fire, quite a treat. The outdoor seating looking down on the stage is... More
