A night at the orchestra

I never miss a visit to SPAC during my annual visit to Saratoga Springs. It makes for a fantastic evening out and we have never been disappointed in the shows we have seen.

We attended 5 concerts during the 3 weeks that the Philadelphia Orchestra was performing this year. They were great for the most part. The venue did not seem as well run this year. The coffee was terrible and cost $3.00. I only bought it once. I did not spend anymore money at the concessions. If items are expensive, they should... More

This review actually reflects our trip to SPAC a couple of years ago -- but we were very impressed. The concert was outstanding, Bella Fleck and the Philadelphia Philharmonic. We wee in the seats -- great view, good sound, very comfortable. The schedule has great variety. We've been to lots of venus. This is one of the best.

I recently saw Brantley Gilbert here on 8/16 and we sat inside in the balcony section. I do not know if it was his sound people or the structure of the building, but the sound was absolutely horrible. We left after only 6 songs, and only when we were exiting to hail a cab did we realize that the sound... More

An outdoor-ish venue in a beautiful state park. We went to see/hear the Philadelphia Orchestra. SPAC is an outdoor venue with seats under a roof but open on the sides and the rear. There is also seating on the lawn, which is exposed. If you purchase a seat, it's a good idea to bring a cushion. The space is lovely,... More

Saw the Philadelphia Orchestra there - Broadway tubes night with special guest Megan Hilty. Really enjoyed the concert, great seats in the balcony. Really no bad seat in the place and you can even enjoy the concert if you wish sitting on the lawn. Great venue in the State Park....

Awesome concerts- lots of evergy and great music! Large crowd, plenty of restrooms, beautiful night. Plenty of concessions and you can tailgate before. Parking lot party!

I recently went to the American Girl night out. My two sisters and my niece joined me for an evening of ballet, dolls and fun. The grounds are beautiful, the events for children were numerous and the carafe of wine we shared, delicious. SPAC seemed to think of everything for young and old. What a gem right in our backyard

There is great variety when the Philadelphia Orchestra plays for three weeks at SPAC. From Beethoven to Broadway, the venue affords a special atmosphere. Whether you are picnicking under the stars, or sitting inside listening to the excellent acoustics, there is something for everyone. Friday night is family night: free ice cream, courtesy of Stewart's, along with a complimentary photo... More

Picture perfect, great sound, plenty of bathrooms, natural beauty it's all here! And once the show is over you can leave quickly.
