A fun day at the races, and loved that the track is historical. Can't visit Saratoga in the summer without spending some time at the track.

Since the early 1960's I have wanted to visit the mecca of horse racing. This year I achieved it with added bonuses of touring the Horse Racing Hall of Fame across the street from the track and an early morning private tour of the Oklahoma training and stable areas. Choosing to sit in the clubhouse to watch the races we... More

I'm not a big gambler, but I really enjoy a day or two of each racing season at the track. It's a part of US history from back in the 1860's that still has a great attraction. Just watching the horses and the people (and placing a get or two) is a lot of fun. I bring my own folding... More

We make an annual pilgrimage to this lovely race track. Make an advance reservation in the elite dining room, get dressed up, watch the horses in the paddock area and take lots of photos. The favorites win most of the races so bet accordingly. The food is excellent and not overly pricey. Service is good. Only complaint is the traffic... More

Whether you love horses or a day of betting, this is the best place to do it. Dress up and have fun, or dress down and bring a cooler. Yes, its permitted. Only a $5 entrance fee but the gambling is all up to you :). There are lots of great food and drink stands which appear to be associated... More

This is a terrific place to spend the day. Watch the horses run, bet on some races and enjoy all the food and fun activities going on all day around the race area. Very Nice and relaxing.

I went here with some friends. I didn't gamble so I was not entertained but they all really liked it and I enjoyed their company.

Loved the old wooden grandstands, beautiful track. Lots of activities, concessions all around. It was like the old "County Fair" but with high quality racing.

Every year since 1973 to see Secretariat run in the Whitney Stakes, I make the trek to "The Spa" for my annual donation to the Thoroughbred Retirement Fund. It is the best racetrack in the US. Nothing even comes close to the experience of watching the horses at the oldest track the US. Each year the slight improvements make it... More
