We we're lucky enough to be in town for Opening Day! Yes, it's crowded...but that adds to the excitement! It's fun for the whole family! We enjoyed breakfast on another day. It's fun to watch the horses practice as we ate; however, the cost is a bit high for the buffet. You can also bring in your own food and... More

Beautiful historic track. Carnival atmosphere and helpful staff. This was my first ever horse race, it was exhilarating! Coolers and picnics are allowed. Next time I will take advantage of that.

I have been going to the Spa for many years, bring a cooer , find a picnic table and enjoy the surroundings. Even if you are not a racing fan you will love the track.

What a great way to spend a day. The grandstands, grounds and entire experience a must do if you visit Saratoga. Several different types of admissions. Reasonable price to get in, food a little on the high side, but you can bring your own cooler and chairs and set up on the lawn. There is a picnic area also with... More

The family was together in NY for a reunion and didn't realize that Friday would be opening day at the track. We always enjoyed going in large groups to the picnic area. My brother was there by 8:30 AM and got the very last picnic table available. GREAT day except for the not winning part but the track is much... More

Saratoga Race Course is a summer tradition for my family. Located just 30 to 45 minutes north of Albany, NY, and pretty close to I-87, it's a great day full of fun. Post time (when the first race starts) is usually at 1:00 pm, with races going off every half hour or so. Some races, such as the sunset races,... More

First time visiting the venue. So much history and such a great track. We'll be back when we have more time to see races.

I love horse racing! I love Saratoga. It's rich in history. It's beautiful with small town feel. It can be a little pricey but you can bring food and eat in the picnic area. You can't go wrong with the fresh made lemonade and NY pretzels. There are tents with vendors set up all over. We paid for club house... More
