Whether you love horses or a day of betting, this is the best place to do it. Dress up and have fun, or dress down and bring a cooler. Yes, its permitted. Only a $5 entrance fee but the gambling is all up to you :). There are lots of great food and drink stands which appear to be associated... More

This is a terrific place to spend the day. Watch the horses run, bet on some races and enjoy all the food and fun activities going on all day around the race area. Very Nice and relaxing.

I went here with some friends. I didn't gamble so I was not entertained but they all really liked it and I enjoyed their company.

Loved the old wooden grandstands, beautiful track. Lots of activities, concessions all around. It was like the old "County Fair" but with high quality racing.

Every year since 1973 to see Secretariat run in the Whitney Stakes, I make the trek to "The Spa" for my annual donation to the Thoroughbred Retirement Fund. It is the best racetrack in the US. Nothing even comes close to the experience of watching the horses at the oldest track the US. Each year the slight improvements make it... More

You have not lived until you visit Saratoga Race Course. As the oldest thoroughbred track in the nation, the history alone should be enough to make you wasn't to go. But if that is not enough then the chance to see the same horses that race in the triple crown should be. The race course caters to every type of... More

We have been going to the track for the last 20 years. Just a fun place to be. Very historical place. Would recommend it for a day of fun in the summer.

Spent the whole day at the track. We arrived at 7:30 to do a tour of the track and how the horses are cared for and trained. It was very informative and interesting. Purchased a Grandstand seat, well worth the $9. Enjoyed a full day of placing small bets and watching the races.
