The Saratoga Winery is located just under four miles from Broadway in Downtown Saratoga Springs. We offer traditional style whites and reds such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Merlot. We specialize in an all natural style of wine making called Melomel. Melomel is 12% honey and 88% fruit, made with no added sulfites or preservatives and fermented in Kentucky bourbon barrels. Our grapes are sourced from the Finger Lakes region of New York State, mainly Seneca Lake. Currently all of our Melomel wines are made on the premises. We are currently producing our traditional style whites and reds at a small facility in the Finger Lakes while we continue to grow and improve our production space at our location in Saratoga Springs. Join us during all business hours for a wine tasting and every Friday night from 6-9pm for live music and wood fired pizza. We invite you to sit back, relax and experience great wine with our friendly staff in our warm and inviting Adirondack style atmosphere. *Using a GPS is not recommended as they tend to not pick up our address properly. Please give us a call for easy and accurate directions.

We didn't expect this place to be packed when we went, but it was! Seeing at how the wines, the prices, the staff, and atmosphere were, we don't blame the patrons for heading over here! The wines were great, you get to sample 5 local wines for $5. The cheeseboard was delicious as well: you get an assortment of crackers... More

Went here as part of our package from The Gideon hotel. Wine tasting done very classy - five "tastes" presented on a wine tree. We also had the cheese platter. The atmosphere is lovely. I am not a wine connoseur, but what we sampled was nice. Definitely a great way to spend an hour in the afternoon. I think they... More

This winery is hard to say anything bad about. It has some nice appeal and the woman or young lady who was waiting on us was very nice and informative. We were there on a chilly day so activity outside was not an option. Inside is rustic and cozy .It is very reasonable as far as price is concerned. Five... More

My wife and I visited on Saturday10 October, outside seating was at a premium. A one man-band was there early afternoon and music was scheduled all afternoon. We sampled wines on the wine tasting and got the glasses along with a cheese platter for two. We had a great time. There was a food truck, they were lighting a pizza... More

Great place to spend a leisurely afternoon. Though it's close to home, my husband and I had never been there before. We went on a beautiful Sunday afternoon around 3p and stayed a couple of hours. There was live music on the deck and a food truck. The winery only has crackers, cheese and chocolate in way of food, so... More

If you are going strictly to taste wines, this is a nice winery. The wines were good. But my wife and I thought the decor was a bit disappointing. This is not a vineyard, so don't expect a beautiful vineyard setting. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice winery, but it felt a bit contrived and cheesy. The outdoor deck... More

Went here with three couples on a Sunday afternoon. The place was rustic but charming, and we sat on the outside deck and listened to live music. The tasting (5 wine choices) was served on a spiral wire rack with 5 glasses. Our sever was friendly and informative. This day was a highlight of our Lake George vacation week with... More

My husband and I stopped at Saratoga Winery on Tuesday during our vacation. The wine tasting on Tuesday is only $5.00 each to taste five wines and you get to keep the glass. ( normally $3.00 for glass). Worth the stop.

This place is a must do for couples, and wine lovers. The building itself, wooden and rustic, hand carved bar it welcoming . The out side as a huge deck, with a fire pi and chairs. We sipped wine samples and listened to a awesome 2 man band. We did the wine pairing with cheese, was priced so reasonable. The... More
