Description: The Saratoga Winery is located just under four miles from Broadway in...
The Saratoga Winery is located just under four miles from Broadway in Downtown Saratoga Springs. We offer traditional style whites and reds such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Merlot. We specialize in an all natural style of wine making called Melomel. Melomel is 12% honey and 88% fruit, made with no added sulfites or preservatives and fermented in Kentucky bourbon barrels. Our grapes are sourced from the Finger Lakes region of New York State, mainly Seneca Lake. Currently all of our Melomel wines are made on the premises. We are currently producing our traditional style whites and reds at a small facility in the Finger Lakes while we continue to grow and improve our production space at our location in Saratoga Springs. Join us during all business hours for a wine tasting and every Friday night from 6-9pm for live music and wood fired pizza. We invite you to sit back, relax and experience great wine with our friendly staff in our warm and inviting Adirondack style atmosphere. *Using a GPS is not recommended as they tend to not pick up our address properly. Please give us a call for easy and accurate directions.

If you are going strictly to taste wines, this is a nice winery. The wines were good. But my wife and I thought the decor was a bit disappointing. This is not a vineyard, so don't expect a beautiful vineyard setting. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice winery, but it felt a bit contrived and cheesy. The outdoor deck... More

Went here with three couples on a Sunday afternoon. The place was rustic but charming, and we sat on the outside deck and listened to live music. The tasting (5 wine choices) was served on a spiral wire rack with 5 glasses. Our sever was friendly and informative. This day was a highlight of our Lake George vacation week with... More

My husband and I stopped at Saratoga Winery on Tuesday during our vacation. The wine tasting on Tuesday is only $5.00 each to taste five wines and you get to keep the glass. ( normally $3.00 for glass). Worth the stop.

This place is a must do for couples, and wine lovers. The building itself, wooden and rustic, hand carved bar it welcoming . The out side as a huge deck, with a fire pi and chairs. We sipped wine samples and listened to a awesome 2 man band. We did the wine pairing with cheese, was priced so reasonable. The... More

My husband and I stumbled upon The Saratoga Winery, trying to beat the rain, and came across a lively rustic place that was highly unexpected. Typically, I have found wineries to be pleasant but a little stuffy. This winery was anything but. The atmosphere is charming, like a lovely wooden cabin with trees as support beams and rustic details everywhere... More

Hubby and I had a Groupon for the wine tasting with cheese platter. Staff was very friendly. Covered outdoor seating area was really nice (and appreciated since it was rather hot the day we went but we didn't want to be cooped up inside.) Wines are decent, although many tend to be on the sweet side so not to everyone's... More

Stopped here for a wine tasting. You can pair your wine tasting with a couple different options and we did wine and cheese and crackers. Wine was good, decent. You can be indoors or outside on the deck. They were preparing for that nights dinner and music but we did not stay so can't comment on the food they offer,... More

Pedestrian wines, fun music and a good afternoon entertainment. Not for serious wine drinkers but we had a good time with family. Cheese plate was way too cold and cheeses quite ordinary . Would not get the chocolates again as they are truffles and do not go with the wines. Did not have the other food but looked good. Would... More

We stopped in on Sunday for the create-your-won-pasta meal and it was fantastic. A great value and really good. The wines are all so good that we ended up buying a case to take home. The owner and staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
