The work in this gallery is a broad range of beautiful art on Adirondack themes, some very traditional, some modern and avant garde, some downright impressionistic, etc. The artists who take turns manning the gallery are warm, welcoming, engaging, and they love to share their work and their hearts with their customers. Even if you don't plan to buy, stop... More

We stopped by and checked the wonderful array of local artists. We were told there was an opening event for a new display on Friday night and attended that also. Other art studios in the area do the same thing so we had nice time doing the local art crawl.

Love stopping in here each year. Whatever featured artist is on exhibit it usually fantastic, as is the other art.

I was really looking forward to visiting the Adirondack Artists Guild on our July 2015 anniversary trip. Having purchased items in Guild Shops in North Carolina, Newfoundland, and the Finger Lakes I enjoy buying locally made quality goods. The Adriondack Guild location is on Main Street, Saranac Lake...a great location. However, the shop was very hot and stuffy, one room... More

Hi - as one of the member artists of the Adirondack Artists Guild, I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. We don't have air-conditioning in our gallery, so on the rare occasion it gets up into the 80's or 90's, yes - we do get hot and stuffy. We apologize for that. I suspect that impacted your visit very... More

A cooperative of local artists, this small storefront, for many years it was the home of Joe Green's wonderful gourmet grocery, is always got something going on. The artistic colony in and around Saranac Lake remains as vibrant as ever. When we stopped by recently, two of the member artists were hanging paintings and photographs in preparation for the annual... More

For a small town it is amazing that there is so much talent! Very enjoyable. I actually purchased a framed photograph by Burdette Parks which now hangs in our foyer--love it!

Saranac Lake/Lake Placid is probably best known for its Winter Olympic heritage and high peaks location but also home to some of the finest artists who capture the splendor and tranquility of the Adirondack Region. The Adirondack Artist Guild is gem of a find right in the middle of Saranac Lake. I must qualify myself, I worked at the 80... More

We stop in whenever we can while in the area, the co-op style gallery has changing exhibits and nice local artwork that is mostly focused on the Adirondack experience. While the pieces exhibited may change, the constant is the friendly artists who rotate to cover the shop and assist visitors with questions or interests. Very nice variety of media and... More
