Small and friendly

We enjoyed the wines at this smaller winery. They had a good variety to suit all our tastes. The staff was very friendly and knew a lot about the wines.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this winery. This is a 3 generation family winery. They took great care of us, showing us the grapes, the technique, and finishing with a fun wine tasting. We learned so much! Their wines were also some of our favorites on our whole tour. :) The tour was free... you just pay for the... More

Mid- September. Not a big tourist time. Arrived at our first winery on our NY wine tour. Long Cliff set the bar high. We parked on the gravel parking area the went in search for someone to show us around the vineyard and winery. We were beginning to think that we had arrived too early, but we spotted someone gathering... More

We stopped at this winery upon a suggestion. We were very impressed. The owner/winemaker Don, did our tasting and was very informative. I didn't know much about wines on the Niagara Trail but Don did an excellent job of spending the time to educate us. His wines are very good. I especially liked his Sauvignon Blanc, Lemberger, and Pinot Noir.... More

We are frequent visitors to the Niagara Wine Trail and Longcliff is one of our very favorite stops on the trail. The family that owns the winery are always friendly and willing to talk to you about the different qualities of each wine and it's story. Blaur Himmel is our favorite wine on the trail. Definitely worth a visit.

This was our first stop on the Niagara Wine Trail Friday, August 29th at 12:10. The four of us were hesitant to go in as it looked as if it were closed. Upon going in we were greeted by a very unfriendly young woman who was sarcastic and rude. One of our group had asked her what the booming sound... More

Hello again- we have received your review and want to reach out to insure you know it hasn't gone unread. I remember your visit, we had spoken about your day trip to Niagara on the Lake the day before and we discussed the similarities between their climate and ours. I recall your group really enjoying our Pinot Magic (the white... More

This winery has employees walking around and giving tours wearing NRA hats. They can do this if they choose, but if you don't agrees with the views, policies and politics of the NRA, you may wish to take your business elsewhere.

This was the last stop on our wine trail experience and well worth it. We had such a great time talking to the owner and with the wine and cheese pairings. We would definitely return on our next trip.

Thank you so much for your positive review! I'm glad that you enjoyed our "Pairing for Penguins" wine & cheese pairing this past January- we were able to raise money for The Aquarium of Niagara that weekend (a cause near and dear to my heart) with the help of great customers like you! If we host this event again this... More

We stopped in on a hot July day when the winery wasn't even officially open, but the owner took a break from painting the barn to open the tasting room. We especially liked the 2010 Riesling. This is a good place - excellent wine, no pretentions.

Thank you so much for your positive review during your 2012 trip! I'm glad you caught us on a day that we could open up the tasting room for you (and I'm especially glad you liked the 2010 Riesling, it's one of my favorites as well!) We've released a lot of new wines since your last trip, and have more... More
