This is a terrific Bay beach in Sag Harbor. No real waves and easily accessible from parking lot. There are bathrooms here in season. Will need a local resident sticker or you can buy a day pass. There is also a swing set, slide and some climbing equipment.

Changing rooms, parking (need permit or pay $10), swings for kids. This relatively quite beach expands the length of the cove for walks and gorgeous views.

I've read a few reviews which made Havens sound like it was actually IN Sag Harbor. If you go by foot, be prepared to walk about 25 minutes from Main Street. It's rather small, but nice

Great playground for kids to play right on the beach. However, its not for swimming, but it is within walking distance of main street. Enjoy it.

Was just there last week and it was open with a lifeguard on duty, so not sure what previous reviewer experienced.

Now its a glorified playground. The town has prohibited swimming and there are no longer lifeguards on duty. Right next to a marina - so its a bit weird to "swim" next to yachts. The water is gray too - for beach fun, better off go to Long beach, about 2 miles away

Havens Beach, also known as "Tides," is calm, safe and shallow for little ones searching for scallops and hermit crabs along its edge. Having lifeguard and swings, it's a wonderful little spot where parents don't have to worry. Only concern: plenty of seaweed, but that only means the water is healthy.
