A great place to bring the young kids

They had many rides and a kid friendly section. There is also lots of food so you can have lunch there. The best ride is the dragon coaster which blows mist as you go through it's mouth.

I brought my little cousins, 4 and 6. We spent most of the time in the "kiddy park" and "spending a bloody fortune on the games winning stuffed toys." The rides were a lot of fun and there were quite a few in that section. The food has much improved from what I remember from a few years ago. Also,... More

Four Adults and two children went to Playland the last weekend of the season. We had coupons and we only paid $50 for everyone which included the cost of two children and two adults going on the rides. The other two adults were spectators. The lines moved quickly. The attendants were competent, cordial and helpful with the children. I would... More

Awful. First, getting charged ten bucks to enter the park to watch my kids (which all purchased bands) is insulting and obnoxious. The staff are rude, rides are mediocre and prices are too high. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I've had more fun getting my teeth pulled at the dentist!

We came here last year for a friend company outing. We were more about the food last year and didn't really care much for the rides. This year, we were able to truly feel the true negative experience of this place. The rides are old, felt like a screw or wood was going to come off the ride and hurt... More

I was skeptical of Rye Playland because some of the reviews were not the best. We got to the beach first which I do think is over priced although the kids had a blast but we've been to much better beaches for a better price. We attended friendship day so the amusement park was 1/2 off. But it was worth... More

This old style amusement park has some wonderful attractions. It retains some of the things that reflect old time family values. Some rides have been updated. Owned by Westchester County, the park will come under private management. That should improve the quality and quantity of entertainment, rides, and other things typical of modern parks. Still worth coming to, especially with... More

Rye Playland is owned and operated by Westchester County and that really shows. There is very bad management and that's the likely reason they lose such huge amounts each year. Many and many people visit Playland and pay to get in. College student don't get paid that much. A few hints for new management: (1) You sell annual passes, these... More
