I love Rye Playland. I love the fact that it is a small park. You can do the whole park in a couple of hours. It is local and it doesn't take hours to get there. I love all the Art Deco style buildings. It is nicely located to the beach. They have everything you could possibly need....rides, food, beach,... More

Went about 5:30 pm and walked the beach. One restaurant was open (didn't eat there though). Many people were on the beach. Water was calm, clear and small fish were swimming around. We stayed until 8 pm when they were closing the beach. The colors were amazing as you can see from the (amateur) photo.

This Park is ok for the little one, but go during the week. It is not very well run so there is much confusion about where the line ends and people do tend to cut the line because of the confusion. While some of the rides were nice for the little ones, avoid the carousel! The two girls working were... More

Even since I learned to drive, Ive spent many weekends out at Rye Playland. Many movies were filmed here. The park has two areas, one is a kiddy land area the other is the main ride area with so many arcade games and prize tickets games. The fireworks shows on the weekends are wonderful. The beach & boardwalk off Long... More

We brought our almost 2 year old twins. They enjoyed Kiddyland and some of the other rides. I wasn't surprised that at not quite 2 they didn't need to pay or get bands. I was surprised that because they didn't have bands they couldn't ride some of the kiddyland rides that we get to ride at other parks - boats,... More

With plenty of things to do in this area or if driving through you still often need to have something for the kids to unwind with. While not 6 Flags or something like that it still does the job as far as rides and games and will both placate and exhaust the kids for a few hours which is what... More

I've been here twice now. There's something fun and lowkey about this place. Never long lines and it's really quite pretty since it sits directly next to a lake so you can go relax by the water if you want to take a break from the rides. It only has a handful of roller coasters but this is a place... More

I have been going to Playland since I was a kid and I have to say that my appreciation for the park has only increased as I have gotten older. It is a fun night out with friends or loved ones (I suggest buying the unlimited pass). I have had many team building days at Playland as well as date... More

The Marvel Show: Went there with my wife, almost three year old son and my 7 week old. Instead if paying 30 a ticket I opted for the 55 a ticket so that we could get a seat at the marvel avengers show that played at 4. The show was supposed to be from 4-530 with a meet the characters... More

This experience has been by far the worst experience we have ever encountered. Rye Play land has a pool that requires everyone to have a bathing suit on , which makes perfect sense. I arrived with my family my brother, sister , 5 year old daughter and 2 year old niece. We changed into our bathing suits and headed to... More
