Fabulous waterfront playland

I love this place! It's a little dated, but that adds to it's charm. The rides are great, it's right on the water, and the food rivals Coney Island.

What an outstanding time we had at the historic Playland on Sunday, May 17!!!! I brought my 50 year old friend first time visit and we had so much FUN!!!!! The park was offering a special deal - $15 for unlimited rides. We loved the fast horses, bumper cars, boat ride in the dark, the shooting gallery, the rides in... More

Arrived at Playland today on opening day of the season. The first thing my family noticed was that not everything was opened. We also noticed that Burger King was missing from the park.In its place was an establishment that by looking at its name we thought we could get some serious milk shakes. We were wrong. It only had burgers and fries.When... More

The most diverse place in Westchester County, where everyone has a good time. Try the Ferris Wheel and you can see all the way to NYC... In the old days, pre 9/11 you could see the twin towers.

This is a children's paradise - rides, ice rink, beach, etc. There is a park nearby that is perfect for relaxing and watching the waterfront.

We live close to playland and had heard about the park so decided to give it a try, with kids 11 and 7 years old. We were incredibly disappointed. Most of the attractions creak disturbingly, are old and not well maintained. The food around the park is the worst junk you can get at any park. There is no spark... More

Playland is the reason that municipalities should not own amusement parks. In fact, this is the only amusement park in the country owned by a government. The park will never make a profit due to its small size and because of that it will always be below par. The workers are disinterested and for the last bunch of years at... More
