Our wine tasting experience was okay here. The server was friendly and informative and knew his stuff, and for a couple of dollars, we were able to sample a few wines. While they have a nice mix of red and white wines and different styles, I can't say that there were any that really stuck out to us, that we... More

After a day of wine touring in this area, none of the wines from this winery tasted particularly amazing. Some were definitely better than others (the dry white wines were good and a couple of the dessert wines were very good.) The setting, beautiful porch and water access (though look both ways crossing the sometimes busy road) are picturesque. You... More

Goose watch winery was the first winery we stopped at during a Finger Lakes getaway, and what a way to start. The wine server was friendly and helpful and recommended great wines suited to our taste (on the sweet side) and a great place to have lunch (Thirsty Owl Winery). We ended up buying a few bottles of their wine... More

I like this winery a lot. It's another winery that's been there for years. There are a lot of new wineries on the lake. I continue to buy from the ones I know I can count on. And this is one. I am trying some of the new ones, but there are so many now. Enjoy these wines, often have... More

Stopped here on a rainy June afternoon pretty close to closing time. The gentleman at the tasting bar welcomed us and helped the group decide which wines to try. He was quick, friendly and entertaining. The wines were good as well. I particularly liked the Pinot Gris. When you stop, you have to try the strawberry wine. It tastes just... More

Goose Watch has some decent dry wines that are worth tasting. We stopped briefly at this winery off of NY 89. It has a nice deck with a great view of Cayuga Lake. We bought a bottle of their Cabernet Franc Rose which we tasted at their wine bar. We ended up really liking that wine after finishing the bottle.... More
