Of all the wineries on Cayuga, I think Knapp has the most engaging staff. We love their Vineyard Restaurant, although it was closed this trip because it was too late in the season.

Warmly greeted as we entered this wonderful winery. Our pourer was very knowledgeable and even gave us an extra sample for free. Met some very nice people that were tasting as well. Nice gift shop too that carries many wine theme items.

My wives favorite winery, we stopped and loaded up on a case of Riesling and some Lemberger for myself. Great place, people are friendly and a shout out to Rachel who had helped me on the phone with a holiday order and was great in person.

We had an excellent wine tasting - friendly and knowledgeable servers and good wine! This offset our so-so meal at the restaurant next door. I think it would be fine in a pinch but you can do better if you have time to look around.

The annual Beef, Barrel, and Blues celebration at Knapp's is a must attend early fall event in the FingerLakes. Chef John McNabb's Slow- cooked 21 hour beef brisket topped with smoked peppers and tomatoes on a homemade bun star. (Alternate dishes available). Wash down this melt-in-your-mouth offering with a free glass of vintner Steve DeFrancisco's dechaunac red wine and dance... More

we arrived at the winery about 12:30 for the beef, barrel and blues event that was suppose to start at 12:00 noon. We were told for $10 we got a souvenir glass, a free glass of wine and your chose of hamburger or brisket. No where on the advertisement for this event did it say anything about a $10 charge.... We had been looking forward to this event for the past month, planned a trip out to the winery with my Sister and her husband who is a huge Blues fan (as well as our DD). The event was advertised on the website as "Beef, Barrel and Blues is a fantastic combination for a great afternoon in Finger Lakes wine... More

We enjoyed the wines so we wanted to try the restaurant. The food was very good and we paired our food with the great wines they offer. The wait staff were very friendly. Food was very good too. We would recommend taking a trip here.
