Lots of fun for adults and children; engaging activities. Only drawback is there's more to see than is possible in a half day, and I don't want to spend more than 3-4 hours in a museum.

The exhibits in this museum are well-curated and designed and appeal to a variety of ages, from 4 to teen to adult. We return year-after-year during trips to visit family in Rochester.

It is a fun place to be. Lots of ideas to borrow for your children. Adults discover their own childhood. Its kinda fun.

This was recommended by our waiter @ Bugaboo Creek rest. So glad we went. It was not on our list of things to do BUT at teh end of the trip it was our FAVORITE place. Much hands on discovery for kids and adults as well. LOVED IT.

Museum had a wide variety of activities. There was enough to do there for two days. It was entertaining for a wide range of ages. They offer Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs. The cafe had decent food for a museum.

Our visit to RMSC was quite fun. We got to see how glaciers were formed and how they carved out the landscape over time. Many other things to see, more than I have space to mention here, if you're visiting Rochester, NY this is one place to definitely stop and spend some time.

I would recommend this if you are looking for something to do with school-aged kids we like to go when the Dinosaur Exhibits are going on.
