The pedestrian-only bridge provides a nice place to view the falls. I recommend parking by the Genesse Brewpub rather than the opposite side as the area around the Kodak building is still quite in transition (meaning there are still some pretty rundown old buildings).

I read earlier reviews citing lots of homeless people etc. didn't see any evidence of that.just took a nice stroll across the bridge. The area could certainly benefit from a little more development to make it more of a destination.

I love going here because of the beautiful view and how peaceful it is. When I take people from out of town, they are always pleasantly surprised. At dusk, there are changing colored lights shining on the falls which is very pretty to see. If you are lucky, during the day, you may see some of the nearby resident perrigrine... More

Quite disappointing. We dined at a nearby restaurant with a supposed view of the falls but this was not the case. I would not call this a destination in any way. Even the area in which we parked on Brown's Race, although well maintained, seemed sadly forgotten in time. We were advised that it was not a good idea to... More

Very hard to find good, safe parking. Truly in a very bad part of the downtown area. Most buildings are abandoned or just look very bad. Would not recommend this attraction.

A 96-foot waterfall in downtown Rochester -- something to see! The Pont de Rennes Bridge, which spans the Gennessee River, provides an excellent view of the falls. It is very interesting the see the falls, with the downtown towers in the background. The bridge itself has many benches for sitting and relaxing, providing an excellent view of the Gennessee River... More

Nothing to write home about, yet still worth soaking it in [ pun intended ] if your close. But certainly not on my Rochester must do list. .

Nice view from the walk bridge. I heard it lights up at night. Cool how the river is cut out from the water over the many years.

I do not recommend the waterfall to anyone. The water is so dirty that it is brown. The area is unsafe with lots of homeless people harassing you for money. I could not get out of there quick enough!

An inner city water fall ! excellent. As a Geography teacher i enjoyed it. Just sit and relax. Come back at night and it is lit up !
