I learned the most I have ever learned at any planetarium. I was completely surprised that a planetarium in this small city was so good.

Would be great for members if they had laser light shows and movies you did not have to pay for. They have so few free things for members to see and a schedule packed with pay to see stuff the kids want to leave after five minutes of viewing. Wasted money!

Coming here brings back great memories as a child and coming here during field trips. Bringing family is even more fun. Any age and ability should love to visit here.

A throwback to the late 60's! There is nothing worth the price of admission there which is very high.. Time has passed this place by as there in NOTHING interesting there at all to see or do, a waste of time and money.

My 2 yr old enjoyed building with the Nano blocks. Overall, she had a good time. Unfortunately the were no shows scheduled for the day.

I love the planetarium! A inexpensive way to spend a few hours. Knowledgeable staff and constantly changing shows, it's something you can checkout a few times in a row without getting bored. Recently saw a show about Orion, it was great!

I try to go to a science museum and/or planetarium whenever I'm on vacation, and we once went thirty minutes out of our way, in New Hampshire, just to visit a planetarium there, so it thrills me to no end that we have a great, and historic, planetarium here in Rochester, NY. The Star Theater houses the first Zeiss Mark... More

Been here many times and still feel that it is futuristic , though has been there as long as can I can remember. Great educational and music/light shows with bands old and new. shows right length of time without getting bored , while being very comfortable. Good for date night!

The Strasenburgh Planetarium presents an amazing show of stars as they evolve over the course of day and night over a backdrop of the Rochester city skyline. The narrative accompanying the show is engaging and informative. The seats are comfortable and the views are excellent from all vantage points. Ample free parking is nearby and the building is accessible. I... More
