Went to Kodak Hall for the first time since renovations. Prior to renovations wheelchair spaces were at the bottom on the side. had to go up and down a huge incline to get to space. Very hard to do so. After renovation, now the wheelchair space we had were in the center much further up the aisle. Much easier to... More

The Eastman Theatre is an opportunity to visit a beautifully adorned theatre from the early 1900s. The Chandalier in the main auditorium is worth the trip alone. This Theater houses the Eastman School of Music -one of the premier classical music schools in the country with a worldwide reputation. It is located in downtown Rochester in the middle of an... A beautifully-restored old-fashioned theater that keeps the glory days of the gorgeous, elegant downtown theaters alive and well.

This theater is a gem. Sit up in the last row of the grand balcony and you can hear chairs being moved on the stage during intermission. Acoustically wonderful. The concerts range from the Philharmonic and Pops, to the Jazz Festival, to the concerts by the Eastman School of Music students. Rochester is blessed to have such a treasure for... More

The recently renovated theater was the setting for a memorable performance set to American composers and the works of Jeff Tyzik written to interpret art from the Memorial Art Gallery collection. The combination of orchestral music, energetic dance, and graphics was over the top and unforgettable. The theater is gem.

We love the old theaters of upstate NY that have been restored. Every city seems to have its one old theater that has been lovingly kept and treasured. This is the one for Rochester. A great venue and a lovely building.

A super venue that is centrally located - a real gem. We've been here for many RPO, Eastman School of Music and Jazz Fest Concerts - too many to count. I think we've even seen some comedians here. If you can afford it, avoid the balcony since the upper reaches are far from the stage. Though acoustically fine it feels... More

I was just here for a couple of shows this past week starting with the classy Bernadette Peters and then the 4th Rochester Music Hall Of Fame show featuring Gap Mangione, Daughtry, Pat Travers, etc. While I wish they would have more shows here, I really love coming here for shows. It is truly the best sounding and most attractive... More
