The Little is THE movie house in Rochester. Great foreign and indie films presented in an excellent atmosphere; then there's the live music. Arrive early on Fridays in December; and have a bite to eat while listening to beautiful music by Year of the Ram.Then, enjoy your show!

My favorite place in Rochester. The Little does a great job of bringing in films you cant see on the big screen anywhere else. Great location, cool old marquee, fun place to visit!

This is a great theatre complex, kind of like going back 30 years ago. Very artsy and great culture. There is one old large theatre up front and the rest are in the rear with a small parking area. Plenty of street parking though also. Prices are reasonable and they show great flicks there both international and new movies. They... More

We want to the little theatre to see "The Skeleton Twins". The movie was much better than expected and the atmosphere felt very inviting. It's not as flashy as the larger theaters that have fancy seats or huge screens but the theatre is much more fun and plays much more unique movies. Highly recommended to visit.

The Little Theater is an institution in Rochester! Anyone who lives in Rochester knows how wonderful it is to visit there for an art film or independent movie. It's home to Image out during the month of October and so much more during the year! If you live in Rochester or are visiting, go to the Little Theater for a... More

I love this theater and don't get there enough. I know that the movies are thoughtfully chosen for quality films. If it's at The Little, it must be a good movie. That's my motto.

The Little offers a unique movie experience. They often offer 'different' films. I enjoy the small-ish theaters and a homey feeling once inside. You can arrive early and get some food right there if you want. I love being able to get a cup of coffee to take inside with me and a snack that is not a box of... More

This is my absolute favorite movie house in Rochester. They play a great selection of indie and foreign films. On Mondays tickets are only five dollars and, in my opinion, the atmosphere is leaps and bounds above the chain places. If you are in the Rochester area, the Little is a must!

Dinner and a movie night out, just soups, quiches and hot sandwiches/paninis, but always delicious, and a limited selection of desserts. Then go to your movie, lots of good choices besides the latest gore and violence mainstream offerings. And with the senior discount (62+) for the movie it is a great deal! Weekends usually an added bonus of live music

With comfortable seats, delicious cakes, popcorn and other goodies which you can take in to the theater with you - there is no place more fun on a rainy day to settle down and enjoy a good movie, or on a hot humid day, to cool off and enjoy delicious iced tea and a pastry.
