The place is a huge collection over several buildings of paintings, drawings , sculpture and odds and ends that the owner must enjoy finding (vintage motorcycles, a fire truck etc.). You can arrange a function here with in-house catering and the folks will ensure that all goes well with good execution of all you arrangements. The catering is a distinct... More

You do not have to be a huge art buff to enjoy this place. You will be surprised at the variety of art pieces. Many things you couldn't imagine being used in art but here, you are only limited to your imagination.

Attended a work party here recently and was amazed at how cool Artisan Works truly is. It is probably the best venue in Rochester you've never hear of. We were given a tour of the facility and it was lovely. The food was also top notch. Want to take my family back sometime for a visit.

Artisan Works has something for everyone. You will need to spend a good part of the day to see everything they have crammed in there, and it changes all the time. We got married here in 2012 and had our reception as well. Everything was perfect! Loads of space for bigger receptions with plenty of area to move around in,... More

I've been here with friends and family... does not disappoint. Unique and local artwork, themed rooms, surprising twists... it falls somewhere between art gallery and carnival funhouse. When I visited with family we had the fortune of meeting an artist that was working on-site, (in a room off to the side that had a larger metalworks area beyond). He told... More

Looking for something unique to do in the Roc? This is it. Eclectic art gallery with so much to see. Even meet the local artists. I absolutely love the detail in the building from the brick floors to every winding space that consistantly keeps you saying "there's more!" Many, many, different types of art here. Definitley worth seeing if your... More

We will be going back to spend a day there looking around. Not enough time to see everything when there is an open bar at a wedding reception.

If you like old, new, crazy and downright fun art work and want to meet the artists - you will love the Artisan Works in Rochester. I especially loved turning and twisting around this old building , in and out of little hidden spaces filled with all kinds of artwork from oil paintings to wood carvings to spheres that hang... This incredibly unique space is a hidden gem. It is a massive WWI munitions factory turned art museum and banquet space. Its the home of literally thousands of pieces of art from all different mediums. Some are for sale some are not. Some you can play with and touch and some you may not. It has themed rooms such as... I have never visited a place quite like this. Original art hanging in every space of this warehouse. A great place to hold an event. They bring in local catering. At the event I attended we all created original art paintings. Very fun night.
