You can start out by stopping at one of the many permanent venues for a cup of coffee and some breakfast. After a leisurely bite to eat. Make sure you bring your reusable shopping bags!!! There are many vendors- fruit vegetable meat cheese wine spirits. Clothes. Plants. Flowers. Baked goods. Lots of Organic vendors too. Bring cash. Some vendors take... More

Bustling, historical market that sells just about anything. I saw fresh seafood, bread and pastries, cheeses, herbs, and duck eggs along with the usual fruits and vegetables - reasonably priced.

I shopped here for 15 years as a resident of Rochester. We ate like Kings and Queens. The prices and quality are phenomenal. Go early; it is a popular place. Do not miss Coastal Seafood Indoors. Please tell Irving I sent you as he is a close personal friend.

When you think of a food truck you think of comfort food. It is some mom’s kitchen put on wheels serving a limited but delicious kind of home cooking. Now imagine 25 or 30 food trucks all together at one time offering their succulent dishes to hundreds of people at once and you are thinking about the Rochester Food Truck... More

I grew up in Rochester, but only started frequenting the Public Market in the last few years on my visits to town. I love getting up on Saturday morning and going there. The produce selection is excellent, and the prices are usually better than the grocery store. The great thing is that you get to buy directly from the farmers,... More

Advertised as a must see but on arrival at 8 am there very few stalls and very few customers. A visit too 10 minutes. Some of the stallholders hygiene practices are questionable. Difficult to access by public transport. Requires a walk through a seedy area. Not really worth a visit.

A visit the the Rochester Public Market is a great way to spend a Saturday morning. The place has such an eclectic vibe. In addition to the many vendors there are also little specialty shops and a nice variety of food vendors. You cannot go wrong with a visit to any of these food vendors for a pastry or breakfast... The Rochester Public Market is a must do if visiting Rochester. It's open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, 6am to 1pm, and Saturdays 5am to 3pm. Most of it is outside, but covered, and there is an indoor section as well. Parking is usually not a problem if you go early. The weekdays are less crowded but less vendors. Saturdays are best,...
