I've lived in the Rochester area my whole life and believe it or not; I had not been to the Public Market. Saturday was my first time. There's really no sense in buying your fruits or vegetables anywhere else! You can get a whole basket of apples for $1.00 ! There's all sorts of seasonings and soup mixes to cook... More

This very large market is open all year on Saturday. Great place to get affordable produce, eggs, meat from local farms, plus other items of interest as you walk around. Restaurants surround the market serving different food like empanadas, red or white hots, coffee, bakery treats.

The market is a wonderful place to leisurely spend a Saturday morning with someone you care about. The selection of fresh fruits and veggies are always in abundance and the deals are too shabby either. After shopping enjoy a great cup of coffee and maybe a mouth watering almond croissant. You won't be disappointed. One of the only things I... More

I like going to the public market because they have a huge selection of produce at very good prices. There's also a lot of parking. It's a great place for both out of town visitors and people who live in rochester.

I love farmers markets. I visited this one on a Thursday so it was easy to park. Grapes everywhere in the fall. And lots of good baked goods from the established businesses. Good tourist stop.

This market is very nice for inexpensive produce and entertainment. The surrounding area of Rochester isn't the best but I've always felt completely safe their with my children. The flower days on Sundays are great too. The little shops offer good and coffee for a great Saturday morning trip.

We came to the market during the summer and it was very stuffy, very crowded and not a lot of room to walk...so we kind of avoided it. They did have fresh produce all around. We go around 9:30AM and I never really found the flowers everyone seems to talk about. We just went this past weekend and it was... More

Yes...they have everything you can imagine...BUT...it is dirty. Why can't they power wash the whole entire area every week when no one is there?? I prefer the organic Farmers Markets around the towns.

One of my favorite places to go on a Saturday. The best coffee at the market and Juan and Maria empanadas are a must have every time I go! Try and get there early because the good stuff go quick!
