This was a great place for our 4 1/2 year old. Don't miss it if you have kids under age 8. Our daughter spent 5 hours here enthralled with all that place has to offer. The rate, food and gift shop are all very reasonable, and the staff kept a good eye out and were helpful. What a great place,... more

My wife and I along with our 3 year old son and 14 month old daughter spend a good 4 hours at the museum. The kids could have stayed there all day as they were having so much fun. There is a number of fun activities and exhibits for the kids. It was not that crowded either which made the... more

I took my daughter to the Strong Museum when she was nine months old. I didn't think she would be able to participate in much, but thought that she might like to watch. I was so surprised- I couldn't believe how many things there were for a baby that little to play with! She had a great time exploring the... more

The Dancing Wings attraction is a lovely experience! I took my mother, age 91 there, and she just loved the garden, the butterflies, and the pupa. However, walking all the way through the museum to get there was a challenge for her, especially since we had to take care not to step on, or be knocked over by exuberent children... more

We arrived at noon (opening time on a Sunday) on July 6. We were afraid that the museum would be extremely crowded, especially during the Fourth of July weekend. We were very pleasantly surprised to find it practically empty upon arrival; apparently, Americans go anywhere BUT to Rochester during long weekends. It worked out perfectly for us! Our 3.5 year... more

We decided to take our 21 month old daughter to strong for the day after hearing how wonderful it was there. We never expected there to be so much for a young toddler to do there. It was great. She had so much fun and so did we. We could not even finish . The little Wegmans store is fantastic... more

What a great place to bring a child. I finally was able to borrow a kid so I could go. We were there for 3 1/2 hours and didn't weren't close to seeing it all. There are so many hands on activities, things to play with, jump on, run around... it's great. I recommend using some sort of location device...with... more

Repeat trip for my children, ages 7 and 3. They both had a wonderful time. There are lots of activities for them, arts and crafts, educational computer games. My kids loved the supermarket. They enjoyed taking, and scanning their own groceries, they must have spent an hour in that part alone For the parents it is a great place to... more

I recently visited for the first time in 13 years with some friends of mine and their 4 year old son. For the adults, checking out Sesame Street, the Time Lab, and the National Toy Hall of Fame was a blast. For the 4 year old, there were so many things to do and see, even without going in the... more
