A wonderful place to visit with the kids. Just give yourself enough time to see everything and to take a little break, as it can be a little overwhelming. For a quick visit, go after 3pm, and its half price. more

What an amazing place to visit. Kids and adults will enjoy this place. There are many things to do and enjoy so plan to make this a whole day trip. There is a sesame street exhibit as well as a grocery store, a train, the berenstein bear village as well as many changing exhibits. The whole first floor is all... more

We live about an hour away in Buffalo. I never paid much attention to this museum, as I thought my 10-year old would have outgrown it. But some coworkers were raving about it last weekend, and then I saw the great reviews on Tripadvisor, so we made the trip yesterday. It was absolutely wonderful for all ages. We all enjoyed... more

Stopped off here on our 'road trip' around Lake Ontario with our children aged 7 and 13 and had a fantastic time. So much to see and do. The fully operational supermarket was a favourite - everything child sized! Spend the whole day here. Anyone running a children's museum should visit this one for the best ideas! more

Over the last few years I have had the opportunity to visit a number of children's museums. The Strong Museum is by far the largest and best place for children I have seen. The place is enormous, with 2 levels and 150,000 square feet of exhibit space. There's so much to do here to keep the kids entertained for hours.... more

This was a great place for our 4 1/2 year old. Don't miss it if you have kids under age 8. Our daughter spent 5 hours here enthralled with all that place has to offer. The rate, food and gift shop are all very reasonable, and the staff kept a good eye out and were helpful. What a great place,... more

My wife and I along with our 3 year old son and 14 month old daughter spend a good 4 hours at the museum. The kids could have stayed there all day as they were having so much fun. There is a number of fun activities and exhibits for the kids. It was not that crowded either which made the... more

I took my daughter to the Strong Museum when she was nine months old. I didn't think she would be able to participate in much, but thought that she might like to watch. I was so surprised- I couldn't believe how many things there were for a baby that little to play with! She had a great time exploring the... more

The Dancing Wings attraction is a lovely experience! I took my mother, age 91 there, and she just loved the garden, the butterflies, and the pupa. However, walking all the way through the museum to get there was a challenge for her, especially since we had to take care not to step on, or be knocked over by exuberent children... more
