Stopped off here on our 'road trip' around Lake Ontario with our children aged 7 and 13 and had a fantastic time. So much to see and do. Over the last few years I have had the opportunity to visit a number of children's museums. The Strong Museum is by far the largest and best place for children I have seen. The place is enormous, with 2 levels and 150,000 square feet of exhibit space. There's so much to do here to keep the kids entertained for hours.... more

This was a great place for our 4 1/2 year old. Don't miss it if you have kids under age 8. Our daughter spent 5 hours here enthralled with all that place has to offer. The Dancing Wings attraction is a lovely experience! I took my mother, age 91 there, and she just loved the garden, the butterflies, and the pupa.
