A beautiful gem for a spiritual pilgrimage. You can light a candle or leave a request. Wonderful tribute to the Padre.

I picked up a friend and told her we were going on an adventure. When we arrived at the Padre Pio Chapel the outside was very impressive. It's on the grounds of the Italian American Club in Gates New York. We took a walk around the grounds before going inside. The "statue" to the Blessed Mother was in sad and... More

This is a huge, recently constructed chapel in an agricultural area. Across the way is the massive Italian-American Community Hall. According to the donation plaque inside, it appears this chapel mostly funded by the Italian-American community. The chapel has a small shop inside where you can buy exorcised salt and Padre Pio Oil. The chapel was empty when we visited... More

If you like churches, then this a good place to go. Was a bit empty - but the place was serene. Worth a visit for sure.

This chapel is located in a peaceful area. The interior is beautiful, and well worth seeing. My children were also glad we took the time to stop in. if you have any questions, there's someone there to answer them.

We visited this Padre Pio shrine on Dec. 14, 2012. (I was told by a few Doctors over the years that I'd never be able to have children.) By the end of January, 2013, I was so surprised to learn that I was pregnant (I had dismissed the symptoms as something else going on)... I remembered (after having my first... More
