Susan B Anthony was an amazing woman. Take your children there and let them see for themselves. Be aware, the immediate neighborhood is slightly rundown.

I took the imposed guided tour and found the experience disappointing. The guide was certainly enthusiastic, and the quality of the artifacts was reasonable, but I found that I would have gotten more from reading about Susan B in Wikipedia. In my experience, the greatest enjoyment of historical places such as this is being given the ability to wander through... More

Great staff, very well informed. Visiting on a not busy day still gets you a personal tour. Really interesting lady with fascinating life, never knew how much history she was a part of. I enjoyed visualizing her life in that house.

This place is literally 10 minutes from my house and it took me 20 years to get there. I went solo on a Friday afternoon so the place was quiet. Since I was the only one I had a personal tour that took a little longer than normal because we were in no hurry. Great way to spend a snowy... More

Nice little history lesson, and it's local (for me). I was amazed that her rose bush is still alive!

Feels historical. Before a visit, get a deep background to understand with some precision what SBA is all about. She doesn't much matter now, but she did then.

Simply a home where a civil rights activist used to live. Talk about boring. If going to something like this is your thing, great and hope you enjoy it. I personally feel a brisk walk around the block provides more excitement

August 2012. While in ROC for business, I visited the Susan B. Anthony home, just a short drive from downtown ROC. I first became interested in Susan B. Anthony's life when I sat next to former ABC news correspondent Lynn Sherr, who told me she had written a book containing the writings and correspondance of Susan B. Anthony, called, "Failure... The Susan B. Anthony House is a wonderful expeirence for a family with older children! The history is interesting and the guides are loaded with stories and facts. Although this is a great experince, I would not reccomend it for familys with small children (About 7 under) as it cam be very boring to them. But overall it was a... More
