Susan B. Anthony Home is located just West of the Downtown Rochester, New York. I called to confirm the hours of operation (opens at 11:00) and got great driving directions. The home is located in the original Victorian neighborhood. The home is pretty much as it would have been when Susan B. Anthony, her sister and mother lived in the... More

My family enjoyed this little piece of history while in Rochester. You first enter the family house next door to the Anthony home. This is where you pay and meet your docent for the tour. There is a small gift store and museum which you visit until the next docent is ready guide you to the Anthony home next door.... More

The docent was incredibly well informed and a joy to listen to. The house has been restored as accurately as possible. Absolutely worth a visit.

We had a great tour of this fascinating historic house in the center of Rochester, where Anthony lived for many years. Don't miss the charming sculpture of Anthony and Frederick Douglass in a nearby park. There is a parking lot and a nice gift shop.

Enjoyed the tour of the house and all the details given by our knowledgable guide. Pity we couldn't take any photos inside the house. Otherwise an excellent experience and very helpful and friendly staff.

Historical Beauty located in the heart of the city. Gives you a true idea of what her life consisted of. Take the time to walk through a little bit of history

Went here when we had some out of town guest and one of the children needed to write a report on something educational she did during her trip. It ended up being a very excellent visit. The exhibits were well done and the docent very good at explaining the events and life of Susan B Anthony. A must visit for... More

I thought I knew a lot about the early women's rights movement, but I learned many, may things while here. We had a wonderful tour guide who shared stories and pictures and all of her knowledge regarding Susan B Anthony and her peers and cohorts. Don't miss the statue of Susan B and Frederick Douglass (nearby park) and the Mt.... More

A lovingly maintained historic home inhabited by the Anthony family, including the most famous Anthony, suffragette Susan B. Although the house is called the Susan B. Anthony House, the museum's organizers make it clear that Susan was surrounded by family members and friends in the cause of women's voting rights, many of whom lived in the house. One of the... Parking can be somewhat limited, but the house is beautiful and well worth a visit. The displays are interesting, as are the artifacts, and the whole is pretty well organized and presented.
