The Susan B. Anthony House is a can't miss stop when you visit Rochester New York. We took a tour with our grandchildren and was very relieved to see how they had tours for adults and also for younger visitors. The staff is very knowledgable and have definitely taken ownership the house and of educating their visitors. There is a... More

I have lived in Rochester for years and finally had the chance to visit this landmark. I was not sure what to expect, and was very pleased with the experience. I learned so much from the exhibits and the tour guide. Visitors can tour almost every room in the house. There is a nice gift shop and many fun places... More

This should be on the bucket list for all lovers of womens history and the appreciation we have for what these early pioneers of womens rights endured.. A small, humble home staffed by very knowledgable and enthusiatic staff...you will stand in the parlor where Susan B. Anthony was arrested for daring to vote as a woman in 1872.....you sense her... This is a must see for anyone who have one hour to spare during a Rochester Visit. The lady that conducted a tour was very informative and made the tour very engaging. I learned a lot about Susan B Anthony and others that worked for the equality of women and African-Americans.

This is an essential part of U.S. history. I loved visiting the Susan B. Anthony house. Even though I live 10 minutes away I had never been. Our tour guide was awesome, very knowledgeable. you do not need a lot of time to go thru the museum. FYI they were a little put off when I tried to use the... More

I'm quite sure we should have all learned about Susan B Anthony in high school, but just in case we were absent that day (as I apparently was!) a visit to this museum will surely fill in the gaps. Very interesting to hear the background and years of effort that lead to all "persons" having the right to vote in... More

It was raining so we thought, what the heck. Another tour guide who really knew her stuff! More interesting than I thought it would be. "Vote said the lady with the alligator purse"!

I was extremely impressed with the docents' knowledge and enthusiasm for their subject. This is a great home to tour...you won't be disappointed. So many historical events happened in the various rooms and I'm wondering why Spielberg hasn't made a movie here with Susan B. Anthony as the star!

The tour was very good and the staff was VERY FRIENDLY! We enjoyed listing to the history of Susan B Anthony. What an incredible woman! Take the time to go to the house. It is not in the best of neighborhoods but people know why you are coming and nobody bothers you.
