Located right on Main St. Rochester, this gathering facility holds all kinds of activities from Home and Garden Shows to Car Shows! There is always something to see or do at the Convention Center downtown. Check their website for upcoming events and enjoy the fun by attending!

Very nice to hold a business event in the atrium. The appetizers were wonderfully presented by the staff. Spacious and roomy, the tables were set up nicely along the wall of windows.

I have attended here for a few events. It is a good size to get around and the two hotels attached are good. I like the fact that I don't have to bring my winter coat with me because of the connectors between hotels. Wear layers. Air vents are fickle.

Very nice facility accommodating all sizes of meetings and events. Situated in downtown Rochester overlooking the Erie Canal with grand staircases and multiple views of the river. Staff is very courteous and efficient. We have had several meetings and/or events at this facility and have never been disappointed with the service and facility.

I was very impressed with Justin the Greeter at the Convention Center. I had 4 different interactions with him. I found him very professional, helpful and friendly, decidedly a positive face for the Riverside CC. I spent 2 solid days in the Lilac Room for a class and the temp control was perfect, very well kept. The only draw backs... More

Hotel so so, not the best place to have large groups of kids. Business location so most things like Tim Hortons opened 8-4 and were closed on Sundays. Most things were a drive away not within walking distance. Not the best part of town either. Elevators slow even though there were 4. Under ground parking a pain. Old building narrow... More

Horrible. Do not hold your events here. Not only is the staff unprofessional, they have HUGE roaches and rats running throughout the building. Kitchen staff is not clean and do not wash hands. They store dirty dishes in the coolers with unprepared food for days at a time. The building is falling apart and has not been renovated since 1985.... More

This is one of the most pleasant and well-run convention centers in the Northeastern US. The Riverside Convention Center is an award winning design (Stuart Polshek, Columbia University) of variegated bands of granite, with a long glass atrium facing the Genesee River. It offers large and small meeting spaces, a full range of AV services, easy access to area hotels... More

This weekend I went to the garden/home show at the Convention Center. The Convention Center is a large inside/ outside area for Large parties, receptions. I have seen parties here, the auto show, fund raisers. It is beautifully decorated. Plenty of room for dancing, food etc. There is also an outdoor walkway overlooking the Genesee River. It is multilayered, escalators,... More

Very clean and well kept. Nice staff. Cold weather in area so it is very nice to be connected to the hotel.
