This theater is small, but has a bar area in front where you can mingle before going into see the play. It is small, but is beautiful inside and offers a good view of the plays because it is small. The productions are excellent and professional. We will be going back again soon.

I have been to Geva Theatre many times and have enjoyed it every time. It's very easy to get to, parking is plentiful and the plays are very well done.

We have NEVER seen any show at Geva that isn't first-rate! Most recently we saw "The Odd Couple" and were blown away by the quality of the production. Casting, sets, lighting, sound - everything was "top shelf". We were also able to attend the Prologue before that show and enjoyed getting a bit of background about both the play and... More

I hadn't been to Geva in several years, but we decided to see a play on opening night, on a Tuesday evening. Just wanted something to do. Everything was pretty much the same on a week night as on a weekend, although this particular night must have been volunteer night because there were a lot of people saying they were... More

Fantastic place. Plays are always well produced. The cafe is a great way to begin, in between or after. One of the many jewels of Rochester, NY.

GEVA is a fantastic little theatre. Every seat gives you a great view. I have seen many performances and not one has been a disappointment. I love the fact that many of the actors and actresses are local talents. Recently saw a performance of Putnam County Spelling Bee and it was fantastic. I do wish they offered a few more... More

have seen many performances here. Not a bad seat in the house. Could use a break on off-times ticket prices. But still the best theater in Rochester.

GEVA not only has a major theater showing well-known plays; but, also has a smaller stage and seating theater for new playwrights' plays. I have enjoyed both venues over the years.

We have been season subscribers for 20 years and have never seen a show we didn't enjoy. Not a bad seat in the house, Soup & sandwich before the show is a tradition .Makes it a treat to be able to have covered parking across the street when the weather is ad. GEVA provides a wonderful evening at the theater.... More

Have seen many plays here. The only drawback is the seats seem to be close as far as leg room, knees to seat back ahead of you. If you are 6' or have long legs you may be uncomfortable with a long performance. 99% of seats have great views! some extreme left and right are not great. Love going to... More
