We went to see a live performance of 'Moses Man' in GEVA Theater last night. We walked away thrilled with every aspect of the show. The theater was great for an experimental "ramp up" of a new play, and the play itself was superb beyond description. We all hope that this play (which is still in its infancy) makes it... More

On a recent Sunday Evening my wife and I joined another couple for a very pleasant, stimulating and entertaining time at one of our communities under appreciated cultural gems. The Geva offers very high quality theater with works by some of the world's best playwrights and although the house is often not full, many in Rochester don't know what they... More

Chic and sophisticated, our Broadway in Rochester. The best venue in town to catch a good theater show.

There's not a bad seat in the house. Each season brings on top plays and very talented actors. One always walks away completely satisfied.

It's a little Broadway feel but the experienced is similar or the same I guess! Full of talented local actors and actresses! Their is a lot of talented groups who come and visit here too! I know typical local Rochester people doesn't dressed up. But as I noticed people who go and see here dress up like a night dress... More

With the Main Stage and the Next Stage, you can have your choice of two venues that are outstanding. Although the Next Stage is small in seating capacity, there is still plenty of high class, professional entertainment for the offering. And it affords a feeling actually be part of the performance! The Main Stage is truly a great deal, as... More

I enjoy seeing plays at Geva Theatre Center. It's a small theatre that seats about 545 people so you really feel you are involved in the play. The sets are well done and often made right here in Rochester. You can pre-order refreshments for intermission so no standing in line. There are plans to remodel the lobby, put in a... More

GEVA is a great asset to our community. Years ago I ushered here which is a great way to see the shows if you are on a limited budget. After only attending sporadically for a few years we have now been season subscribers the last two years. The mix of plays has been very good in our opinion- not a... More

Saw Women in Jeopardy on Saturday evening. Not a bad seat in the house. Solid production and very entertaining. Signing up for the whole season. Forgot how nice Geva is. A Rochester GEM.
