If you love rolling hills and wine country, this area is for you! There are so many activities to choose from, like visiting wineries, visiting majestic falls, shopping at unique places like the Windmill or Oakhill bulk foods. You can even catch a race at Watkins Glen International! There is something for everyone!

We try to do this at least once a year! There are wineries and distilleries ! If you prefer beer, there are a few breweries to be found along the wine trails, too ! Have a designated driver to have a safe ride !

The Seneca lake wine trail is varied in both, wine variety and venues. Starts and ends in Geneva NY. The other lakes trails are also a great trip, plan an overnight or 2 at one of the many nice ( in some cases world class, 5 star ) inns and B&Bs. Have a great time.

As a native NYker, I must say that the Finger Lakes Region is one of the most beautiful areas in the country. If you enjoy wineries, microbreweries, microdistilleries, beautiful scenery, and great food, this is the place to visit. Most of the wineries are open all year long and offer wine tastings to the public. The up and coming Microbreweries... More

The Finger Lakes Wine Region is home to some of America's best wineries. The mountainous areas combined with the Finger Lakes...makes this terrain ideal for harvesting grapes. Along with the over 50 Wineries to enjoy...this area boasts some of the best boating...and houses some of the most desirable real estate for water front properties.

The area is absolutely gorgeous. Restaurants and small towns a treat. Unfortunately , red wines are still not great in New York area. But it is wonderful nonetheless.

A truly beautiful region in western New York filled with beautiful lakes, great state parks, small wineries known for their Rieslings and many excellent restaurants! Each is special, uniquely different and worth a day, week or month!

We have been going to Seneca Lake for the past 10yrs. We attend the summer Jazz Fest at Glenora Winery. What a fantastic view! Sitting on the side of the lake, enjoying good wine, good food and great music. You can bring in your own or purchase on site. There is a wine tasting room and a retail area filled... More

Four of us went to Deerhead Inn for dinner. We all had the salad bar and we all got stomach aches and the runs. This was Oct. 5th. They were all right in 1 or 2 days but it is Tues. Oct 8 and I am still having a problem.
