We bought a family pass for our son's birthday and it was the best thing that we could have done! We go several times a month and it just as fun each time! We can spend hours just drifting through all the exhibits and picnic! We love all the fish and other animals that are there, plus it is educational!... More

It's the same boring experience with the same exact shows everytime. You want to do something different you have to pay an arm and a leg.

When we went to the LI Aquarium, there were butterfly and parrot areas that were each self-enclosed. It allows the birds/butterflies to roam free in the room allowing direct interactions with these creatures. $1.00 buys you a cup of parrot seeds which encourages the birds to sit on your finger, shoulder, or head! The helpful staff eased children's fears and... More

I loved the variety and quality of all of the exhibits. My two sons and I enjoyed the sea lion show, the shark tank, the many coral reef and fish exhibits, and we saw our first octopus and cuttlefish. We enjoyed the seahorses, jellyfish, pirranhas, and giant sea turtle. The volunteers and employees were very knowledgeable and friendly, even the... More

We took our grandchildren and daughter who were visiting from Richmond, here about two weeks ago. We were pleasantly surprised by the number and extent of the exhibits. There was something for everyone, the grown ups, as well as our seven year old granddaughter and 20 month old grandson. My granddaughter particularly liked the Atlantis archeological site. It was a... More

The LI Aquarium and Exhibition Center was over priced. The aquarium itself is not that big and has some unusual sea creatures -- monkeys and bats! There were exhibits that were empty but we weren't sure why. The penguins were nice as well as the touch tanks, and the staff was friendly. But really, it was just overpriced for what... More

Visiting a young niece and nephew out on Long Island. One day we went to the aquarium with them, School was out so it was a bit crowded but nothing that stopped us from enjoying the exhibits. And enjoy them we did. The two kids both about 18 months had a great time. The four adults with them enjoyed it... More

What a wonderful way to spend a day with children....I enjoyed this experience so much that we went back again a few weeks later with all four of my grandchildren. I cannot wait until they have the outdoor shows again so we can enjoy the sea lions in residence. There is much to see, the butterflies, birds, sting rays etc....... More

On Saturday, March 9, 2013 we paid a visit to the Atlantis Aquarium and Exhibition Center. We have been there before and enjoyed the experience. This aquarium has a variety of exhibits, both indoor and outdoor. There are some unusual exhibits. For example, this aquarium has tank which includes two Japanese spider crabs. These crabs are quite large and have... More
