This was the typical LI winery - pretty facility, mediocre wine. If you have any type of sophisticated palate, this is probably not the place for you. The wines were average and lacked dimension, especially on the back end. There were some that were decent but I don't think there were enough to really justify a trip back. We walked... More

This use to be a very family friendly orientated winery, farm animals, picnic tables, outdoor music, lawn games and great place to hang with a picnic basket and good friends. Now all they care about is selling everything and bringing in bus loads of tours and party limo's. They no longer value the people who built there business over the... More

Went on a Sunday and the place was packed. Decent wine and service. They had live music and lots of outside seating. Lots of families with kids and animals. Place is very big and they have a nice gift store.

This east end Long Island winery is exceptional. It's large fields host music and lawn games on weekends along with tastings and some fairly nice musical groups. You can sit at picnic tables or on the patio, but inside off the tasting room can get quite loud due to the proximity of the speakers for the music. This is one... More

Martha Clara is worth a stop when on the North Fork. They offer wine tasting, wine by the glass and bottles of wine. There is a very large enclosed area to enjoy some food and wine. They also have Live Music for your entertainment. Ample Parking is available. Give MCV a try, you will not be disappointed.

Martha Clara is a great spot for a weekend afternoon. Kid-friendly with a petting zoo and semi-private with the picnic tables scattered around the premises. The Dry Reising was a crowd favorite with my group.

By far one of the best wineries on the east end. We revisited here for the LI Winterfest this past February. Spent the afternoon listening to great music and drinking some great wine. We did the Valentine tasting special which came with 4 glasses of wine, a glass of champagne and chocolates to pair with each. I am usually only... More

A uniquely fun experience! We visited 4 different wineries on our last trip and this one really stood out. We pulled in to parking lot and noticed a small barn and fenced area. As we walked to the entrance, we noticed they had llamas and some other farmyard animals. Of course, pictures had to be taken. :) You enter into... More

Lovely vineyards with terrific petting zoo for kids & music for the family. Nice selection of wines & the people working in the retail store were helpful. The snacks were a bit on the expensive side so we passed on eating there

I've been to this winery many times, but this time I left feeling less than satisfied. This last time I was there will most likely BE the last time I visit. The wines are just so-so, and the service at the tasting bar is less than adequate. My friends and I ordered a bottle of their Pinot Grigio, which we've... More
