This area of Long Island is full of vineyards, no way to sample them all in one weekend, but Martha Clara produces some excellent wines and the staff very knowledgeably explains the history of the vineyard.

This was the first vineyard in the area we stopped at. Although the wine connessiuer was knowledgeable, atmosphere was indeed lacking. There ate better choices in the area.

One of our favorite vineyards because it has a full gambit of activity. Love the live music and huge picnic area. We got an awesome horse ride for 20 minutes and just drank a whole bottle of wine while chatting. This was also the only winery that had a food truck on the premise. Really good idea because I'm sure... More

My friend won a VIP wine tasting. This is held in a room that overlooks the great room where everyone normally goes. The tasting is six wines that are paired with either cheese, desserts, or meat. Our host was very funny. I really liked that the VIP tasting room was inclosed so there was no noise from the great room.... More

This place has a lot of activities for groups and kids, but that also means there are tons of people. When we visited on Saturday afternoon there were at least 500 people here, and they had corn hole, a petting zoo, food trucks and more.

This is a really large winery. There is a ton of land and it is really beautiful. I am giving this place 3 stars because the land is beautiful, but the wine was fairly tasteless honestly. My husband and I each got different tastings and just weren't very impressed with any of the wines included in the tastings. The atmosphere... More
