Head out to Hallockville for an interesting look back at Long Island History held in several antique buildings. The nearby cows are fun for kids to observe, the open fields are lovely to look at. Find a time when reenactors are camped out and the impact is fascinating. Tour the barn if you're into old farm tools and visit the... More

Went to a wedding here during the summer and the owner "herb" was crazy. We weren't allowed near the animals and he yelled at many other guests.

We went for the fall festival. Kids had a great time. Montser truck ride (which was $20 which I thought was wrong since we paid that to get in) They had tractor pulls, a craft fair, food, pony rides.....loved walking throught the old barn and seeing all the old stuff.

We had a great time, and came all the way out east to participate in a barn dance that I had seen advertised the previous weekend. My son had a blast running around, and dancing, and it was nice to do something different. Great place, very tidy, very nice people that work there. We'll be back again on our next... More

Should be called "Hick-ville" Farm. OK if you like cows and ancient steam tractors, otherwise quaint but pretty boring.

There are many events that take place here.and each is special in it's own way. My passion is for any of the antique power association displays, as this part of farming history gets forgotten;we tend to jump from the horse drawn plow to the combine and forget all the charming and hardwworking machines in between. To get as much as... More

One of my favorite local attractions. I haven't missed a Christmas at Hallockville since first introduced a few years ago. Any of their fairs and/or festivals are a great excuse to get out there, but even just a lazy summer day. Farm animals, historical homes and just plenty of room to roam. No fee for walking grounds when there is... More

My family loves visiting the Hallockville Museum and Farm. It's a terrific place in the heart of Long Island Wine Country that demonstrates a real historical farming community. We enjoy the history and restored buildings as well as the awesome events they have throughout the year (the kids love the tractor-pulling). Great place to visit!
