On Friday my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful tasting of Roanoke's wines at their downtown tasting room on Love Lane in Mattituck. All of the wines were delicious and the gentleman conducting our tasting was friendly and informative. The tasting room itself is very attractive and comfortable with sofas, chairs, and tables at which customers can relax with glasses... More

Been stopping here for many years and we really like the wines and have many a nice visits, chatting with the owner Richie once or twice, who by the way is very engaging. We always considered Roanoke one of our favorite East End wines, maybe influenced by their winemaker Roman Roth from Wolffer Estate where we are club members. Stopped... More

I was there last Sunday with a friend. We loved the wines and the wine sommelier behind the counter was very nice and knowledgeable. I did not get his name. We are going back tonight for the Happy Hour, which is Mon-Fri. only. We bought a few bottles of "the wild" chardonnay.

Nice smooth wines, provided small crackers and cheese with the tasting...not crowded, wonderfully outside tables close to the vines, a nice indoor tasting and sitting room too. Be sure to visit

Always make it a point to stop here on my trips out east. Never leave without buying a bottle or two.

One of the best vineyards (and yes that's tough coming out of Long Islands extensive quality vineyards). We went midweek which was quite and gave us personal time to experience the wines and the knowledge of the staff. Well worth the visit.

Their wines are really good and their prices are reasonable. The tasting came with a little bread and cheese, which was a nice touch. I wish we stayed longer, but we rushed off to try another winery, which wasn't nearly as good. There are comfortable places to sit and enjoy a glass both inside and out. If you are doing... More

Roanoke Vineyards is a gem of a small winery, located on the North Shore of Long Island. My wife and I discovered it about three years ago, and after tasting their wines, immediately joined their wine club. We also make it a point to pay them several visits a year, once the warm weather sets in. Our most recent visit... More

Would not recommend this winery. The wine was just ok but we felt rushed through the tasting. The server would pour the wine, say a quick sentence about the wine, and then disappear. There a few different options of what you would like to taste (reds v. whites v. mixed) but is expensive as each tasting only has four wines.

If you are traveling on the North Fork, Roanoke is a must visit winery. They have a beautiful, spacious tasting room and plenty of outside seating right near the vines. It is like being in another world, far away from traffic, etc. The tasting room staff is excellent, especially Jen, who is very knowledgeable about the wines and also the... More
