My wife and I have been coming here to get our plants for many years. All the people are very knowledgeable about plants and can provide a wealth of advice. They are welcoming, friendly, polite and with a strong desire to help and make this a really enjoyable, plant-shopping experience. There is a very good selection of annuals and perennial... More

There was really nothing to see. This is really a store like Plant Depot, but worse looking, trying to sell various plants. It should not be in this list on Tripadvisor. I went there with my family based on the review here and left within 30 minutes, after figuring out that there is nothing really to see here.

This place has had the best and broadest selection of any type of plant you can think of for your garden. Foliage or vegetables they cover it all. They are very knowledgeable and helpful, but are also friendly and quick to help.

I've been buying all my annuals and perennials here for years. The plants are excellent and the prices are fine too. The hanging pots are spectacular. Nothing like it anywhere.

One of the area's hidden gems--worth seeking out--turn right on Salisbury Turnpike off Route 308 east of Rhinebeck out past Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center. Great overall selection of flowering perennials and herbs. Great place to bring small kids to get them excited about gardening. They usually wind down mid-late July when they have a big sale. I've had more luck... More

Its more of a garden shop, which is wonderful. When i think of Botanical Gardens, i think garden paths, displays and selected quotes abt flowers engraved on little markers sprinkled amongst the collections. :) With that said, it is delightful, expert advice, good prices, wonderful selection of veg, fruit, flowers, shrubs, and an organic area that gets larger each year.

If there is a plant you want and can't find it here, it's probably not indigenous to the area. They seem to have every kind of plant available from fruits and vegetables, hanging baskets, flowers, greenery, great staff who can answer just about any question. The site has grown by leaps and bounds over the last 40 years and unlike... More

If you want to increase your knowledge AND variety of annuals and perennials on your poperty, Northern Dutchess is the place to go. They have grown by leaps and bounds since they first opened over 30 years ago. It's owned and run by the Santini Family. The drive to it is beautiful, too. It's a place one can return to... More
